Under TGA management, Playaway Lanes is undergoing extensive renovation project to replace and modernize the support machinery (pinsetters, ball returns..etc) to improve the functioning of the lanes. This allows us to bring modern bowling improvements and preserve the classic atmosphere.

We are proud to announce our winter renovation project for this year's league season. All leagues will be starting the week after Labor Day. Please ask a staff member for details.

In order to meet our deadlines and to make the below renovations possible, we have made slight price adjustments. The new pricing will begin August 8th, 2006.
Winter 2006 renovation schedule:
NEW BALL RETURN, LIFT AND RELAY SYSTEM
It is a well known fact that the current ball return system has been a constant source of problems for the past several years. After meeting with league bowlers and frequent customers we decided that immediate action was necessary. TGA / Playaway Lanes is proud to announce that all of the old equipment will be completely removed and replaced with brand new, state of the art, ball return systems and support equipment. The equipment will installed, and fully functioning before league season begins.
LANE RENOVATION
Our lanes will measured, certified, resurfaced and re-screened before league season begins.
FOUL LIGHTS
The foul lights have been replaced / repaired and are now functioning
COSMETIC IMPROVEMENTS
To preserve our history, TGA is currently in the process of resorting the fixtures and equipment back to their original glory. If you have any color suggestions or design ideas, please let us know, we'd love to hear your thoughts. If you have any memorabilia you'd like to contribute please let us know.
ELECTRONIC SCORING!!
The news you've all been waiting for... Electronic scoring is coming to Playaway Lanes!! The new scoring system Is scheduled to be completely installed and functioning by November of this year!!
PRICES
Our basic price plan is as follows:
Open bowling $2.75 per string
Shoe rental $2.25
Group or Private Lane Rental $20.00 per hour, inclues free shoes for everyone in your group.
Specials
Thursday $3 admission gets you $1 per string and a free shoe rental. Offer available from 2:00 PM to Midnight
Friday, Saturday and Sunday: Cosmic bowling 8:00-Midnight $12 per person. Includes 2 hours of unlimited bowling.
Sunday
Family lane rentals 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, $15 per family for 1 hour of bowling. Includes free shoe rental for everyone in your family.
Birthday Parties
Several Birthday party packages are available and each party can be customized and personalized for the birthday boy / girl.
Group rates
Special group rates are available for churches, youth
groups, schools, campers, family functions, office parties / business meetings or any other organization and event and can be customized to fit your style and taste. Please contact us for more information.
