I know that Andy wanted Japanese books for TGA (and he has some) but that bookshelf looks pretty lonely. I thought I'd post a link to a Japanese bookstore in Waltham (the one in Cambridge is closing). Here you go guys Japanese Books (http://www.sasugabooks.com/) I thought that once you're done with them if you dont want em we could donate them to Andy's bookshelf to expand it. :D PLUS you can order online which is cool

By books do you mean novels or manga? I was actually thinking of donating some of my manga to Andy for the store if he wanted it, both English translated and original Japanese. I don't have enough room for all of it :(

Well I think that Andy would appreciate anything because when i was looking through i his collection i saw books from learning japanese to a japanese/english bible. I think that Andy would appreciate anything. Plus it's good to have a variety :D

Hmm, should pm Andy about it. I'm willin to donate my Lupin the 3rd Volume 5 English Manga. It gets pretty funny when Lupin finally gets Fujiko HAHAHA

Yeah, recently I've picked up one of the books and began to read it and it's pretty interesting.So I'm going to learn how to read Japanese.HERZLICHSTE GEBURTSTAGSWUNSCHE. :D

That's one reason I started taking Japanese. I have a lot of Japanese manga, but I still can't read it, cos a lot of my favorite authors don't use furigana, like Chiho Saitou. *sigh*

Argh. I totally hate trying to read manga w/o furigana. It hurts my head.

i have some stuff to donate/let Andy put on the bookshelf for awile, one is a book and abou 5 HOURS of instruction on the included CDs. the other i have is a japanese phrasebook that includes kanji/Hiragana/katakana

I'm glad you revived this thread :D I appreciate any donataions to the store that are Japanese related, are in good taste and are suitable for all ages. I appreciate all the responses as well. Thanks so much!!
