So we had the tourny and most of us got our butts whooped. Is there anyone here that is into the game a lot? I love doing random weird challenges and HRC. I personally play as Samus and Mario.

Yeah, of course me and my friend Orky play a lot. We've gone as far away as Indiana to play in big tournies. A week and a half ago we got to test our mettle against Azen. He's crazy good, IMO the best smasher in the nation. Got our butts whipped.

I wonder what the next TGA smash tourney is going to be like. . .

What kinds of prizes do they usually have for these big tournaments, and what are the typical rules for the matches?

lalala im bored and im new to these message board and i just recently entered into one of TGA's SSBM tournaments and id like to say hmm i had a pretty good time. i thought the place would look alittle more professional since it is "Tokyo Game Action" buts its koo the comps for smash was pretty good i had a good time. well hmm i coud say this Mass. Holds the best smashers in the New England Region. We have beaten the bests from Maine, Connecticut, New Jersey, and some of the tops from NY, Philly, and etc etc. so we are pretty talented as gamers and i hope our skills have brought more competition and gamers to join the community of smash! :) and for a tournament like this i think $10 is a good amount for an entrants fee. only leave the big bucs fee to the larger tournaments when you exceed the amount of 32 - 64. which is impossible to hold for TGA lolz it such a little tiny place. hope to see yall again in future tourneys and train hard so you can beat us cuz we are good but never unbeatable

btw the big tournaments gives u big bux!!! i been to New York tournaments around 3 times i think BIN4, BIN5, and S4Cvol.1, Connecticut i been there 2 times COAST1,COAST2 although it werent big tourneys but it was alright and fun comps are tuff! NOW We are hoping to face the challengers of New York! again for S4Cvol.2 in december! yall should go if you arnt busy it will be really fun and i think first place gets like almost $1000 to spend!!!! thats a lot and top 3 gets paid :)

I use pika and mario. I'm struggling to find a way to get DK to work, and i thikn i'm making progress. Of course he's an enormous target and not to quick... the quick moves he has are not devestating at all.

DK is actually pretty darn quick its bcuz of his size that make his move seems slow. but trust me he is really fast with his moves, and they are quite powerful like his ariel up +a and also his up+b if timed right taht move can send u flying (best timing is to do it when ur like really close to ur opponent. similar to what you woud do if ur bunched up if u play link)

So yeah, as I sort of expected, I got my butt kicked. Beyond belief. I don't know anybodies names... but those Luigis are insane! I think I need to learn some tricks from you guys, I've read a million threads on smashboards but I think real people are probably better at teaching.

So congrats to the winner and all the good competition. I hope to see you guys again so I can pick up some new skillz.
