Dear TGA members,

First of all, no I'm not dead and you have not lost your administrator. Over the past few weeks I have just been very busy preparing to schedule my final classes before I graduate as well as focus on a few of the business ventures I hope to open after graduation, but that's not the focus of this letter.

As Andy has said, many things have been going on with the TGA site, and I must take responsibility for things that have been happening, or not happening, because of my lack of intervention as of late. I must thank the team for being so supportive and quick to fill the vacancies during my absence.

But now, things have passed beyond the control of the moderator team, and me. We have had some security breaches as options that I had verified as working a few days ago have been compromised. It has been brought to my attention that people are having trouble with logging in and out, guests being able to post and those same guests posting in private areas. I have begun to troubleshoot these problems, but a lot of them are running into dead ends. Which leads me to my next statement... in the next few weeks, I will be doing a complete overhaul of the site from the ground up, all inactive members will be purged, and the forum software will be reinstalled and more security measures will be installed. I have also taken it upon myself to open up the forums to a more general membership, as we have saturated the amount of people that both participate on the site as well as go to TGA, as to how I will do that remains to be announced.

During the summer, this would have been no problem, but because of my schedule, this will be a slow process.

But now I ask you, the membership, to feed me some ideas as to what changes or functions you would like to see added or deleted as I run this. However, I know I cannot do this all myself and if any of the suggestions are in regards to extra content or inventory, which is something I must get help on (inventory being a huge matter). Please use this thread to do that.

As for the look, who knows, it might get a little darker in here.

Thank you for your ongoing support, and please be patient as the site goes under construction once again.

Regards,
Bryan

KEEPING WITH BRYAN'S POST REGARDING UPDATES AND IMPROVEMENTS, I HAVE MORE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU, THE TGA THE MEMBERS:

The site:

I have been working non stop, with Brian to update the site every day. The Staff and I have finally compiled a Complete inventory list, from packs of gum, to Games. We are also looking into some other exciting improvements for the new site.

The Store

This and overhauling the back room has been a long process which is finally starting to show results.

NEW DDR CS STATION!!

The overhaul of the back room is almost complete. The 27 inch flat screen and speakers will be used to house a permanent DDR setup which will include a DDR station complete with 2 C.F. Pads W/ DOUBLES KIT and an import DDR mix to vary between, 4th mix, 5th mix, and Party Collection in anticipation of the release of DDR Festival next month.

I also have another exciting plan for the DDR station which I will be happy to discuss in person. Until the arrival of the C.F. pads, I have equipped the DDR Station with my home made wooden doubles pad which will serve this purpose until the CF pads are installed.

POCKY

The new pocky / Japanese snack order will be available this Saturday. As a continued service to you, the TGA members, keeping with the price drop of all candy to 50 cents, THE POCKY AND JAPANESE SNACK PRICES WILL BE AT AN ALL TIME LOW REDUCED RATE TO TGA MEMBERS. The prices are so low, that I cannot post them on the site.

The Bemani keychains / cell phone cleaners will also be available this Saturday and will be offered at a reduced rate to TGA members.

The hoodies should be available by the end of November.

I want to thank Brian for taking the time to get TGA overhauled, I can assure you that he has been working very hard to make this happen.

Thanks!

Andy

FYI...Just wanted to pass some info along to ya

Ok, after making a million phone calls, I finally got all the infomation we need for the new hardware.

The new upgrade kit for IIDX 11 ONLY SUPPORTS VGA OUTPUT. This is both good and bad news for TGA.

The good news for you is that I am going to have to buy a new 42 inch plasma screen monitor that supports VGA input which means that IIDX red is going to look beautiful. The old (or current TV) is going to be used for either the Pop n music CS station or the DDR station in the back room.

The bad news for me is that all the compatable monitors that I have seen are big bucks. Sigh.. looks like more debt for TGA.

Let's just hope IIDX red is as good as everyone is expecting. Looks like I will have to personally play over 2,500 games to justify the purchase of the new monitor.
