So what happens when it gets HOT?

Just wondering if you guys are going to do anything for the summer. It gets hot in there anyways with tons of people packed in there, and stuffy since they are all mostly playing DDR. You guys going to have any fans, or stuff like that to keep the air cool (and clean) in the summer when it gets really hot?

Yeah, those two windows in the main room usually help, and the door is proped open, but there's usually no wind current going through there, so I can only guess that it'll be hot. People should bring fans and stuff, I'm sure people have them lying around at home.

That and we're going to have to buy a hell of a lot of towels. :guin:

Well for one, ther is a door, we could keep that open to let soem air circulate. Moreso than that though, whe nI was last there there was in fact a fan now. not a wimpy one, but it wasn't exaclty a jet engine either. But It helps.

Funny story about smelly people... i drove 40 minutes to TGA with a couple of friends who had come back from college in NY for the weekend, we get there, it was kinda crowded, open the door...the smell HITS ME AND SLAPS ME AROUND A FEW TIMES...5 seconds later, we turned around and left.

so yeah, ill definately be bringing spay on deotorant (the small 99 cent ones). and passing them out..."see this is what us clean people use to NOT SMELL, you should give it a try sometimes...or maybe....right now".

Look at it this way... DDR = Sweat... Deodorant ain't going to save anybody, because there will be buckets of perspiration everywhere, not just the armpits... People are going to stink, no matter how hard you fight back, may it be their lack of personal hygiene or their gland problems. Try to fight it back all you want, and I suggest nuking the place with febreeze, but, as for the smell, it will come lingering back into your nostrils and knock you out... That's DDR for ya.

I've found lately i'm sweating a whole lot when i play. So i promise that if i were to play DDR followed by IIDX, i'll put a towel over the keys. I play right side anyway, it's like the amish country over there. No one ever sees it, but they know it exists

Okay, really, I'm speaking out of my ass here... but it is true that close to nobody plays on the right side, and when one of these people sees another right-side player, they go nuts, like... "WOAH, I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!"

Actually, I am perfectly cool with sweaty players because I am willing to accept them into the brothahood. I can play both sides fine. I gotten used to it from my frantic beatstage 5th mix playing. I actually cross my hands while playing, since I am a single hand player.

I think taking a shower and wearing perfume/cologne is a prerequisite of Craz's idea.

Maybe you guys at TGA should start selling Deoderant or something, right next to the DDR machines. You'd make a killing XD. Also, you guys could sell that cool Axe stuff for after the DDRing is done, so it doesn't always smell like crap. Buying Lysol might not be a bad idea for people who DON'T buy the deoderant >.<

Oh god, after Blaise and Jam had a fun time spraying that in the DM room, I ran out coughing because it smelled so bad. Didn't take long to stick to the clothing either. Axe is NOT a replacement for a good shower, cologne and a good stick deodorant.

ah, i went there saturday, i grew up around guys and the smell all of them create while playing video games so it didn't effect me that much just only after 10mins of not inhaling haha
