OMG i never hear anyone talking about this movie but i LOVE it.

its the greatest movie with some great songs

See, I enjoy this movie for alot of reasons... not just "cause it rocks"

Please note: I am not trying to be mean to anyone, I realise I just did a poor job of expressing WHY I love the movie =)


First, and what alot of people like to point out..

The Soundtrack is amazing. When I used to have that soundtrack, I would listen to it over and over, and I have yet to get sick of it. I personally am quite a fan of all of the little (and not so little =D) Snips from other songs, and how they incorperated them into the movie, I can't help but laugh when I head parts of a Nirvana song come through in the middle of a somewhat scarey visual scene of a huge bordello dance hall. All the while everyone is dancing and what not.

Oh man, then, the Cinematagraphy (yes, I butchered that word as far as I can tell... I can't spell, and know it) just amazes me. Bahz Lurman is really good at what he does. The different use of speeds in his movies is crazy, and makes you feel like your in some kind of surreal atmosphere instead of a normal reality, and i think that adds alot of different dimensions to the stories he is telling.

ANd the story... It's just a really endearing love story with a tragic end. It pulls on yer heart strings, it makes you smile, and laugh. (At least it did for me) And, if I cried for movies, maybe cry =)

And there... just a few more indepth thoughts on this movie than what I had origonally posted =D

i really like the movie. it's fun, romantic, and bewitching...dunno if i love it like you guys. but i sing the songs from time to time. ^_^
