Everytime you make a thread in here it posts a headline on the front page. This is used for announcements and news regarding the store and forums, so please stop it.Maybe you guys think its funny, but it isn't and I'd rather not see this immature behavoir continue. If you want to spam and act immature then please stick to the water closet. Unfortunately, thats what its there for.

So here's an idea.......why don't you just make it so only mods/admins can create threads in the headlines forum? Pretty much a no-brainer for any message board site...

. . .

I don't have the ability to do that. I don't even have any mod powers or anything yet (I'm starting to think I never will), otherwise I would have taken care of the other threads myself. They seem to have been taken care of by somebody else. I posted a thread in the mod forum about it.

I fixed and deleted the posts. Thanks for the heads up Stax.

Oh, and yer Mod powers should be working soon...

I reminded "the big man" to fix that =D

No shit sherlock.

I know I made those permissions the way they were. I guess it didn't work out the way it should, but that doesn't mean that members can just come and abuse the accidental loopholes that happen to be left around here. For 4 months, nobody else posted there, it is a restricted area whether there are permissions or not. THAT's common sense.

The bans? They are justified. Not only did they post in a restricted area, they posted material on the front page that threatened the credibility and reputation of the site. Enough said. I no longer have respect nor do I have time for the members who constantly violate the rules and take advantage of my tolerance.

Easy big guy. If it was so "no shit sherlock" obvious, then maybe it should have been worked out.

It's nice that you have alot of trust in people, but regardless of that, people will be people - it was bound to happen sooner or later. Just telling people it's restricted clearly isn't enough, let alone that it was on the internet - the land of doing things wrong without being punished :P

You have a point, but this is the way I see it, this type of behavior is prohibited. Clearly, if they were civilized, they would have found the hole and told me, not take advantage of it.

It's the Internet. Everyone takes advantage of everything.

That's an easy out. :/

But it's true. I mean, it's all well and good to hold people to standards, but if it's on the Internet, you can pretty much bet that not everyone is going to follow them.
