That's a good point. If they can make a PS2 that small and sell it for that cheap, then it's more probable that they can do that for PS3 as well. I'm not sure about the PSP. I believe it is still going to retail around $200.

THey just did it to appeal to the stragglers who don't have one. They made the PSOne long after the original PS came out, which was just a small version of it. This is is the same deal. I very highly doubt it has anything to do with any future consoles.

Well my PS2 is dieing and im going to be pushing in the next few months, so a new one might be in the near future for me
