MGS2 and...Escape from LA?

Well i was watching USA last night and there was a commerical for Escape from LA. Noramlly i ignore the commercial because its a b rate action movie, but something caught my ear. The main character's name in Escape from LA is names Snake Pliskin. In Metal Gear Solid 2, the real main character (becaise Raiden is a whiney prick *slaps konami*) is named Snake and has an alias of Pliskin. Coincidence? Discuss...

Wow kid.. I never really noticed that.. Now I will pay more close attention.. I think they did it on purpose to see. Cuz there's a spanish comercial for Dawn, the dish washing soap I like. It was like a sponge going through the water killing all the waste and stuff like nothing. The jellyfish came and tried to ink him. The kid was like, "ATTACK WITH MAKING NET!" Cuz the sponge had netting around it. (I btw have a yellow sponge like that) And the sponge went right through the ink and smash them all.Then this octopus comes in and tries to suck the sponge, but the sponge broke him in pieces too. And then the little boy takes his hand out of the soap dish pan with the sponge. And kids like wow mommy this is fun. (Mind you this was done with a little boy wearing a starsifh shirt and had a pinapple cookie jar next to him)
