Well, this seems to be the week that keeps on giving. The soldering that was applied to the hi-hat has come loose. If someone here has experience with soldering and could go down to the store, today or tomorrow solder the hi-hat, and secure and it with elecrical tape I would really appreciate it. It's a very simple procedure and will only take a minute or two. there are 2 wires that come from the motherboard that attach to the metal plate on the underside of the hi-hat. Just flip the hi hat over, it is already disconnected, and solder the wire. There are wire strippers, soldering iron and solder in the red tool box.
I am asking for help, because My father is scheduled for surgery so I will be unable to come down to TGA anytime soon.
Gavin will be watching the store tomorrow so just advise him that you will be repairing it.
Thanks again everyone
I was trying to contact Andy Lipski or Clay (both have soldered the hi hat before) but my cell phone battery died; Maybe if someone could contact them and pass the word, that would be great
I do have internet access again, but is very limited
