Hey Everyone,
Well, one of the two MRI's came back and we just found out that my father has a brain tumor. This is much worse than what we were expecting. The doctors are going to come in tomorrow and tell us our options for treatment. What makes it worse, is that he has had it for a while and they are convinced that they will be unable to perform surgery to correct it.
In other bad news, my father was moved to a room without internet access so I will once again be away from a computer and the internet until further notice.
I talked to Jose yesterday and he told me the Hi hat was not working. The problem we have been having with the hi-hat is that the friction caused from hitting causes the wire to get frayed.
I took a trip from Lahey to the store and with the assistance of Craig, we drilled a hole into the sensor housing unit of the hi-hat and ran the cable through the back, to the motherboard.
So in short we will never have another hi-hat issue again. I have been wanting to modify the hi-hat this way for some time but did not have access to a drill and metal piercing bits. I borrowed the drill from my father before I left for TGA.
I just left TGA now and stopped by my apartment to check my e-mail and what not. I have a VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT TO MAKE TOMORROW. I WILL HAVE SAL POST IT TOMORROW NIGHT WHEN I SEE HIM. SO STAY TUNED.
Thanks again for all your prayers and I hope you will continue to do so. The same God that kept him alive through a stroke and three heart attacks can heal him of anything. I do have faith! But it is all in God's hands and his will is perfect. I honestly don't know how much time I have left with him, so I am going to make every moment count and see him as much as I can, while I can.
Thanks again everyone, I will keep you posted.
God bless!
