Tournament registration thread.. finally!! :P

Ok folks, here it is, the tournament registration thread. Please post which tournaments you will be interested in. I am hoping that these tournaments will help with the IIDX fundage. I am exploring some other options on borrowing money on a temporary basis and using the tournament income to pay back the loans, not a bad idea huh?

Some people new to the TGA scene may think it's strange, and may ask why I discuss store finances on the website. My answer is simple. My customers are my friends and I want everyone to know and have a say in all future plans for the store. We are all in this together. TGA is a family and I intend on keeping it that way.

Well, again, thanks everyone and I hope everyone can make it to at least one of the tournaments.

I still need help running the fighting game tournaments. Pm me if you are interested.

The entry fees for the tournaments are as follows:

Game show night: $20 includes the flat rate and entry into one event. Entry into both events is only an additional $5.

Halo Tournament: $20 which includes the flat rate.

Fighting Game Tournament: $20 which includes entry into both tournaments and the flat rate.

GAME SHOW NIGHT SUNDAY AUGUST 15TH

PRIMARY means that you are registered as primary for one event. You can also be scheduled for a second event as well and will retain that spot, as long as a new person does not want the spot for your second event. This way everyone will get to participate in at least one event.

Um, yeah most likely you'll have to bring in your own stick. Or you dont mind using a PS2 controller.

1. whats das mean bumpable? if it means what i think it means, why is it selective bumping?

Sorry about any confusion . The "Bumping" is just a term for the standard primary / secondary event procedure we have been using all along. Everyone will have a primary and a secondary event. You are only bumpable from your secondary event, not your primary event. i typed it that way because I was really short on time when I wrote it, I fixed the registration thread and put it back to the standard wording. Hope that clears that up.. sorry :D

Yeah! Just come down today and sign up, there's no difference between pre-registering and registering at the door. It's just so that we get a good head count before the tourney starts.
