Didn't someone mention a CvS2 / SF2:AE tourney at some point? When was it again? What are the rules? Are there sticks?

The CvS2 and ST:A tourneys are on August 22nd. It's a Sunday, and admission i think is $20, $10 for cover charge for the store(like free play on everytthingggg) and $10 for the pot of prize money.

As for sticks, seriously, BRING YOUR OWNNNNN..... cause if you heard from like Evo 2004, there were BIG problems with the sticks for consoles. Most of the problems were because of the sticks given to play. But some people brought their own sticks and they couldn't complain. I know Andy has like one ASC. The other big one doesn't work. So either you play on a regular PS2 controller, or one person uses Andy's given one, or use your own. I repeat, use your ownnnn so that no one can fuss about stick problems because its not their type of stick or their not use to it.

I'm pretty sure it's double elimination. And i dont know how to work the brackets since we dont have an estimate on whose fighting. And i'm pretty sure.... Andy is running this? If not... Chris u do it! :D

I don't own a PS2 or an Xbox or whatever it's on. I only have a DC stick. And I'm not gonna enter if there isn't a stick I can use. :/ Is there a DC->PS2 converter?

And I'm not gonna randomly run a tourney. XD Unless I "randomly" make the brackets myself and make all the good people eliminate each other!

Well, judging on how TGA events usually start, many people don't even show up until that time. So, really... I think your safe with 3PM. Don't want you to get out of work early and miss that extra hour of deserved pay. But, if I do hear anything, I will IM you as soon as possible.

More of a turnout than I expected and I got a bit more competition than I expected. It was double elim for both tourneys, but SF Hyper Fighting was Best 2 of 3 rounds double elim. CvS2 was ratio match double elim. Oh, and I just happened to remember what teams Pou and I used final round.

3rd - Derek A. (Normal Blanka)
4th - Rob Stevens (Super Sagat)

HMM BLANKA'S KINDA POPULAR. Fun times, hopefully we can get another CvS2/3S tourney sometime soon.

Wow, lots of ST Blanka? He's not that popular at all in big tournies. And a NORMAL Blanka? The one that takes 4x damage if hit out of a ball?! Wow.
