Hey, I'm considering buying PNM... I played it once for like 30 minutes at Anime Boston 2004 and it was fun. I'm into DDR heavily, so I know I like Benami. I'm planning on buying a Ransai, but I'm not sure weither or not I like PNM enough to pour close to 400 $ into it. Any suggestions to point me in the right direction. And does anyone know of a place close to URI to play PNM other then TGA because my parents wont let me go there because of the town it's in. By the way I'm only 14 and I make about 100 $ a week. So, what would you do?

the only other place to play PNM is at Millenium Fun Center in the New Harbor Mall, in Fall River Mass. I know, because i work there. We have Pop'n 5. I know i love the game, and i just don't play it at home. If you ask me though, it's worth it to get a ransai and a pop'n 9. You could easily get that in a month and a half if you make what you say you do

I read on another forum that Pop n' 8 was a better home version... Any opinion? And I actual make a little more then 100 $ a week... Depends on the week... Like this week I'm at 100 already and have half a week to go so I guess money isn't relly much of an issue. Fall River is far too... Hmm... I'm in a predicament... It was fun, but about 400 $ is kind of alot for just a game that I don't even know if I like, but thanks for the feedback! Anyone else have any advice?

Get 8 or 9. 8 has a beginner's mode, so if you're not used to games like PnM or IIDX, it'll help. Both have very good songlists, just like every other PnM. Also, they both have lots of songs from earlier games, and in the case of PnM 9, a few preview songs. Just get one game and a controller, that'll be somewhere around $100 most likely. Go download some songs or something, see which songlist you like better and try it out. If you don't like pop songs, or very childish songs, you might not like PnM. The music is incredibly varied though, so if you love exotic music, different music, etc. you'll probably love PnM's songs. The small controller isn't as fun as an ASC/Ransai, but it's still fun and very affordable.

I say money is no problem for a game if you like it enuff
