My vote has to be for 3+knuckles. Hard, fun, and its lengthy.


and i just realized how horribly wrong that can sound in the wrong context >_>

Aside from Sonic 3 + Knuckles which is obviously the best Sonic game ever, period and with no contest, I rather liked Sonic Advance.

I enjoyed Sonic 2 the most, But I think thats cause I didnt get enough time to play 3 + Knuckles which was a great game when I played it

Sonic 3/Knuckles. I always played as tails (I know, I'm cheap)

I think the best Sonic game was deffinetly sonic 3 and knuckles. but in close 2nd place is sonic 2 cince that was the first sonic game i ever owned :)

Also, besides Sonic 3+K... the game gear sonic games RULED. at least when i was younger they did.

Kept me amused on car trips, that's for sure.

Yes Sonic 3 is very fun. Has anyone played Sonic Hero's yet. I thought it wasnt that bad and its kinda fun because each person has a strength like Sonic=Speed, Knuckles= Strength and Tails=Flying.

I liked Sonic 3/Knuckles the best. Its fun collecting all the Chaos Emeralds and the Super ones. Then, the game gets super easy...

Ya'll don't even know... Dust off the Saturn and pop in a copy of Sonic R, the best Sonic game ever. In case you don't know about it, it's Mario Kart on foot and at Super Sonic speed. The graphics were sweet (for the time), plus it was one of the first full 3D Sonic games (second only to Sonic Jam, also for Saturn... 3d Blast doesn't count...) the soundtrack is still awesome, the gameplay is tight, and the replay value peaks at the need to unlock all the characters and collect all of the chaos emeralds. The tracks have tons of shortcuts and alternate routes, and parallel with other levels in the Sonic series. If you have a Saturn, find a copy on eBay... now! One of my all time favs...

I never had a Saturn, so I haven't played those, but I LOVE Sonic 2. I have all the music on my computer and everything. *hums chemical plant zone* I never got to play Sonic and Knuckles all the way through, and I FINALLY got around to stealing my lil brother's Dreamcast. I'll work through Adventure 1 and 2 at some point. How are people liking Heroes? It is better/worse than Sonic Adventure?

I love Sonic 2

Then sonic 1

then Sonic Cd for the Music

I really wanted to play more Sonic 3+Knuckles add on, but my family was ghetto back in the Genesis Heyday so I never got attached to is as much as Sonic 2

and I really wanted to play Tails ;_;

coz' Tails is my favorite sonic character :D

Hate to tell you, but sonic R was on the list of "What the hell are they thinking" for sonic games along with sonic 3d blast.
The reason to brush the saturn off is for Nights into Dreams.

I really really liked Sonic R. Awesome music, very fun. A nice, simple racing game with Sonic characters.

Sonic CD is similar to the other Genesis games, except it adds a lot more. You've got this past-present-future dealy going on in the levels, including a good or bad future level depending on what you do in that level. Also, it's got animated opening and ending sequences. I never really got to play it much (;____;) but from what I did, it was quite good.
