I remember FF6 pretty clearly, but I am trying to figure out which of the scrolling features you would refer to as "mode 7".

I know what Mode 7 is, I just didn't know what the question was.

Mode 7 is the feature that SNES touted that gave 360 motion. Pilotwings, for example. F-Zero. NCAA Basketball and NHL Stanley Cup. Tnose were all games that feature it.

I think it was a rhetorical question. And I think that perhaps they did use it a fair bit in Airship sections and such... but umm... yeah...
