August Events

I just wanted to write a quick note to tell you what the plans for August are.

August Tournaments:

1 Halo Tournament


2 Game show tournament including the return of Press your luck and an ALL NEW GAME SHOW. The new game show is in the design stage as we speak.

Since the game show format on the laptop worked so well, and Sal is able to program accordingly, my goal is to run a game show tournament once a month and mix it with a Bemani tournament of some sort on the same or following day.

Tentative dates are the last two weekends of August. The tournaments have to be on those dates for two reasons:

1 Those are my only weekends off for the month of August

1 Sal ( who is running the events) is only available on those dates.

My only concern was that the LZ tournament is in August, but I have been told that it is going to be held on a Friday, Sunday or Monday. If you are on the LZ planning staff or know someone who is, please have them contact me ASAP so I can work around the scheduling. Unfortunately my hands are tied due to scheduling issues with my job, but I will do everything I can to accommodate the LZ tournament.

DONKEY KONGA 2

DK2 came in today and it's awesome. The DK tournament went pretty well, so I will probably run another one using DK2 on the Sunday following the Game Show day on Saturday.

can we get several xbox consoles there and connect them all together, so we can play something like 16 player versus, pleeeeeeeeas? i've done that before and it was the funnest thing ever.

my brother is coming to visit sometime in august...maybe he could come too!!!
