Note to everyone:

A Percussion Freaks or Drummania machine is NOT a drum set!!! Hitting it harder will NOT make you do better, if anything it will break the machine and make you do WORSE. PLEASE treat the almost TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR MACHINE NICELY!!!

Just thought I'd post this after seeing the PF machine down for 3 hours on saturday, most likely due to smashings.

Today the DM machine was down until Andy could get to TGA because the cymbal broke. Guess who got to fix it >.<

yea ive known that from the beggining NOT to slam the PF pads as if they were my own drum set, i respect someone elses property alot and wouldnt intend to break it.so ya I make sure im careful not to slam those PF pads when im playing.

Also remeber that the PF machine was not in the best condition when it came in aswell. Slamming is an issue, but general ware and tare is also at fault

Well, when you can hear someone playing it from outside the store, you KNOW the machine is getting abused.

Everything on DM is way to tight. play on GTs pads, then TGAs, youll see a huge differrence. I personally play better on GTs pads since there not sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooo tight. But the cymbal at gt is going bad. It gives you double hits, and you have to hit it incertain spots. either way. It sounds like your SMAAAAAAAAAAASHING the DM machine at TGa when your really tapping it.
