1 year anniversary wrap up

Well folks,

I had so much fun this weekend, I'm so glad that everything worked out like we had planned. A few techinal difficulties but, ones that were easily fixed.

I just wanted to post a few of my favorite moments and I invite you to do the same!!

Oh, I am very impressed on how quickly everyone is progressing in PF9, if this keeps up I will probably host a tounament in a few months. I am looking to host another game show tournament in August. I will keep you update on that as I get the info, it will probably be towards the middle / end of August.

The game shows were without a doubt my favorite moments of the weekend. nothing beats the whammies, but the quote of the weekend goes to...

My favorite moments? I'd have to say DMR in Jeopardy coming back from -1400 points to win with 2100 after final Jeopardy. I really felt quiet useless up until the stuff about History. I'm such a nerd > . < !! And how can you people not know what the significance of the number 13 is??

And then of course there was team TGA WDF in Press Your Luck. And our sound was "RICE!" Of course, being asian didn't help us too much before we got THREE whammys. But I was proud to get the opprotunity to answer the question, "Why did Rob Brown originally close TGA as posted on the TGA forums?" CHICKEN LUNCH!!! (or all of the above)

Team Adam wins you all with 5! And yay for the broken Percussion Freaks machine for most of the day. I myself blame Rob Brown, as I witnessed how HE treats the machine when playing.

Note to everyone:
A Percussion Freaks or Drummania machine is NOT a drum set!!! Hitting it harder will NOT make you do better, if anything it will break the machine and make you do WORSE. PLEASE treat the almost TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR MACHINE NICELY!!!

I really felt quiet useless up until the stuff about History. I'm such a nerd > . < !!

I was actually VERY pleased that the turning point was actual knowledge of things that aren't video games. ^_^

The best part was me and Jen being your lovely hosts, obviously.

The kids were cute! Probably not the best team to be on in a trivia game, but they did fine!

TGA's one year anniversary was very fun. I wish a few more people came that I missed but everyones on vacation and working and stuff so what are ya gunnna do.

My favorite moments were definetly from Press your Luck. Though my least favorite moment was when I lost all my teams money by getting a Whammy. The "What is the original reason Rob Brown closed TGA for" question was the best. Especialy since RB closes TGA was our team name even though I wanted it to be Team Amanda :p

I also enjoyed the 'girls are evil convo' in the back parking lot and getting Gavin 5 bottles of water though was sorry that they smelled like ciggaretts cause the dude was smoking in his little booth. Who does that?

And Adam,lots of people bang on the PF machine don't blame Rob :crybaby:

P.S. Who got the boy in the bubble DVD? haha
P.S.S I rented Good Burger that night,that movie is amazing. Too bad I fell asleep though.

Overall the weekend was VERY GOOD! My personal favorite was Jeopardy! Team DMR (Dexy's Midnight Runners) came back from -1200 to 2100. Thanks to Garret for telling us what S.T.A.R.S. meant, and to his history info. I kinda buzzed in early on the "Jackson" question, and Blaise and I agreed the most logical answer was "Moonwalker 2". (which I will buy if the ever make a sequel) Yeah we sucked at the beginning, but we picked up some slack in the second half! Thanks Garret & Blaise! I was also very happy when people stopped eating pizza so I could have more =P And I'm glad the photopost is up too. I was overjoyed to see a picture of myself sucking at DMX lol

you dont know sucky .. they didnt even put my picture up .. probobly because i sucked so bad and i didnt even get to go to the annaversary(sorry about spelling im not that good) because i was grounded for putting maple syrup on my bro's(rob brown)bed because i was pissed at him. they had to throw it out. :D

I want to thank everyone who played Press Your Luck...I had a great time hosting and everyone enjoying it as much as they did made all the hard work worth it. I can't wait to play it again.
