Music Game Olympics?

I remember a really long time ago (Mar or Apr) I was suggesting on DDRF that we have a huge tourney amassing every Bemani + Taiko no Tatsujin. Well I had to stop organising that due to some stuff that was going on in my life. Tension with users on that board made me stop posting there too, but I assumed the tourney would go on anyways. I found out today that it didnt... :(?

Anyways, I was wondering if that would be more possible now that TGA has a 2DX and a PF machine. The only Bemani that couldn't easily be done would be Guitar Freaks (due to the less than superb home versions) and 5-key beatmania (5-key mode on 2DX != 5-key beatmania) But without those we have 10 events. (dont know if anyone that plays those would get offended?)

I don't know if there's any interest; especially considering that it entirely didn't happen before, but if we organised teams and whatnot again I think it'd be OK.

Besides the fact that one team is going to have the best players in every event, i like the idea. Ohh, and the 5key IIDX ISNT 5 key beatmania. Its the 7 key notes minus the last white and black key so you sitll can get a lot of the stupid crap that goes on in some songs, but i can pass the Safari L7 with it :D
