Stepmania/DWI File Sharing

With all of the people here that play DDR and have computers (namely, all of them), it's inevitable that a good amount play DDR sims like DWI and Stepmania.

I figure we could use a thread for members to share and brag about their stepfiles, and then to critique and trash everyone else's. :p

Noug when you say taking requests does that mean you'll make stepfiles for songs that people ask you too. If so make a step file for "Gamble Rumble" by Move

I don't think IIDX players should be allowed to make DDR steps for IIDX songs.

Good for the most part, but overdone in some places (a jump finishing off a 16th run?)
But then again, I hate all KKR steps.

Not stupidly hard.
Not feeling like Standard.

ugh... i attempted making a file today, but it failed... The first song, i couldnt get the BPM, because it was a tempo changing song, and in the second attempt, I couldnt change the file into an MP3...

Going to work on it this week though.

i used to have stepmania, i had like about 186 files, but i deleted it becuz it was ruinin my real DDR timing and my parents wanted me to get rid of it becuz my computor was slowing down

Yea same here, since all my damn files were all out of sync and i didnt know how to sync them, i just quit playing stepmania. i was also sick of wasting my time downloading files since my computer is slow. :guin:

You can synch files using F11/F12 during the song to move the arrows backward/forward in time.

Just open up the editor and fool around with the options and see how it works. Then take the text file for any song you have, delete the computer code, and change all the tags at the top to whatever's appropriate.
