Tokyo Game Action is seeking an energetic, hard working, friendly, courteous, reliable individual to join the TGA volunteer staff cadre.

Please note, this is strictly a Volunteer position. Volunteer staff members are not compensated in any way and work under the direct and indirect supervision of the store owner.

Duties include:

Maintenance and regulation of Arcade Machines

Conducting Retail Sales

Providing Customer service to TGA patrons.

Conducting other duties relevant to store operations, including but not limited to: Logistics, promotion, fiscal and administrative duties.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicant must be available 4 days per calendar week between the hours of Noon and Midnight. Volunteers may contribute as many days as they like, however, the applicant will be required to volunteer at the store, a maximum of 3 days a week as scheduled. Volunteers will be given a minimum 4 days notice for their assigned days. Volunteers who are unable to work a scheduled shift will be relieved of the position immediately.

Applicant must be a US Resident 18 years or older

Applicant must have a Valid Driverfs license or a reliable method of transportation to TGA.

Applicant must not have any Misdemeanor and or Felony Convictions.

Applicant must have no history or narcotic, substance abuse or any other activities that would create a conflict of interest with the mission statement of TGA which includes the establishment being a Christian Family Oriented Business.

Applicant must be an active customer and registered member of the forums in good standing.

Applicant must have averaged at least 2 flat rates per calendar month since March 2004.

Applicant must have a thorough knowledge of Japanese imports and the Bemani Series.


Interviews will be conducted at TGA Monday at 6:00 PM. All interested parties send me a private message no later than Midnight on Sunday, June 27th, you will receive a confirmation PM listing your interview time.

TGA reserves the right to amend or terminate this posting and / or the position at any time without written notice.

Hey....I don't know why I didn't think about this when I made that big list of suggested that might be worth considering, but another reason to perhaps stay with the status quo as far as machines and inventory go might be to have a little money to pay a part-time worker or two? I don't know how the whole volunteer situation is going.
