Megaman Anniversary Edition

anyone else pick up this lil gem? My copy just came in, and it's well worth it. A butt load of megaman games in one handy dandy package. I believe it's 1-8, and two other non-american release games. I haven't unlocked those two yet, so i have no idea what it's like. Extras of the ps2 version include some original episodes of the megaman cartoon, and some remixed songs. I also have not unlocked those. The gcn interview has some interview thingy with the creator. So i think ps2 one is much cooler. Right now I'm at wiley's castle in mm1 and 2. It saves your progress so you won't have to deal with passwords. BUY IT!

YES! BEST GAME EVER! I picked it up the day it came out. I'm on Mega Man 2 right now and it totally owns. Though it does look repititive around 5 and 6 but who cares :P. That game rocks.

I don't want to start a ruckus or nothing, but seriously, did anyone really LIKE Megaman 7? I mean, is it near the top of anyone's list? And I'm not asking this 'cuz Dr. WIly is a bitch in this one, I'm just saying Megaman seemed to have downgraded to a really crappy CPU in this one... maybe he just needed more RAM.

7 was good because it had a good amount of shiny special items you could get like the rush armor and the proto shield.

Yeah, there were oodles of goodies and searching every little nook and cranny was fun too. I just found that Megaman had sloppy movement and control. But hey, it's just like that hot-ass chick who beat me at the tournament today, "Try it on 1.5x." What does that have to do with Megaman 7? Nothing.

Here's a question, how was the music? I heard there were remixed versions of each song, which was one of the big reasons I wanted to get it. Anybody? Oh yeah, if anybody knows where I can get those songs, please tell me and you'll get mega mega karma.

the in game music is all the same, there are some bonus remix tracks. I've only unlocked one, which was Plantman's. That saddened me. And i'm still looking for a megaman 2 soundtrack

I know the PS2 version has it.... but i'm sure http://www.planet-megaman.com will probably get the music sooner or later.

Megaman is the COOLEST. I don't like that Megaman X dude. I don't care what anybody says, He'll never touch the original. You still need some skills to beat these games, even to this day. I picked up my copy on PS2..even though I own all the games it came with lol. I just wish it had come with Megaman Soccer...that would have r00led.
