Being one of the greatest mini-game games in my view, I just happen to love everything about it and it never ceases to make me laugh when I'm in need of it. My favorite game happens to be the "Milky Way Delirium" or what Jen and I call "Odyssey". I forget what my best scores in the mini-games are, but if you want to show off your favorite games as well as your highest scores, feel free to bloat. :]
Here's their new website too, which is a whole mini game in itself >> http://www.warioware.biz/gcn/
Maybe there's the possibility of a bracketed tournament in the works? I do know a few people, including myself and Jen, that would be in it.
i'm so in for a tournement, even if i've never played the american GCN version before

no worries, it's exactly the same, except...you can actually understand what is being said! ^_^;
but half the fun in Made in Wario was not knowing the specific task you had to accomplish. The best example i can think of is the moped games. Where in one you had to land, and another you had to dodge bombs. I still love it's chaos though, so much fun.

Well, then if we hold this at TGA, I guess we could use their copy of WarioWare. But then that would kind of slow down the whole process, and then on top of that, wouldn't seasoned players know what the games would be anyway? I think the whole "Japanese rather than American" version issue would come most into effect with the IQ games, because most of those are ALL wording.
All ideas that should be taken into effect. ^_^

it's really not that much of a difference...if you've played enough you catch on quicker to which one it is. same with the UFO-shooting game...sometimes you are the UFO and you have to dodge the shots, and sometimes you are the ship and you have to shoot the UFO. the secret is that if the ship comes in from the right side of the screen (as opposed to being in the middle of the screen when the game starts), then you are the UFO. :]
and i agree with bryan, if one player gets an IQ game and the other one doesn't, then the first player is at a disadvantage because there's no way they could have understood what to do.

I finally just unlocked the top right door in 1P mode last night! ^_^ Took so long to unlock Pyoro 2 in the GBA version, and now they made us do it all over again in the GC version. Oh well. I've got some decent scores on some of the games, but I don't feel like looking them up now.
If you have a competition, definitely use the US version.

I unlocked the whole game in a couple of days. I played the GBA version to death, so most of the minigames don't seem to be so frantic to me. The music videos with the japanese lyrics are really strange heh..

I just have to say that those videos were AWESOME!
Something I do miss from the Japanese version are the really really really high voices telling you directions when you start the mini-game, sometimes I'd laugh more at them than anything else.

Yes, they are!! The 4 player battle games are just too hilarious. Anime girls with runny noses grabbing those yellow pixeled blocky things is so funny. The 'find the idol one' kinda sucks, but the one with the crawling towards the trophy makes up for it.

It's all about the little chalk kids running around trying to get the money, and the huge evil evil rabbit thing chasing after everybody so it can hug you to death.

True, that is a fun one also. Sucks when 3 people hugs one corner and you happen to be closest to the middle, heh..

Just thought I'd let people know:
The Nintendo DS was officially unveiled today, and one of the games is none other than WarioWare. However, in this one it appears that rather than button mashing you get to mash your touch-screen to death.

Just one shot for an example.

It kinda makes me look at my GBA funny... Why must Nintendo torture me with such must-have and annoying, rapidly-evolving, gameboys?

Haha... That is funny, but then again, somehow, I don't find it too surprising...

i don't get the point of the touch-screen thing. @_@ it reminds me of a hi-tech version of pat the bunny.

Well, the touch screen doesn't always have to be a touch screen. It can just be a normal screen. But I think one example given was... "Baby Mario is falling from the sky on the top screen, you draw clouds on the lower screen to slow him down." And in WarioWare it kind of makes sense, you use your hand to do things rather than button mash.

Well, think of how fast technology is going these days. It's going at an impecable rate. I have no idea what to expect next, but it sounds like a good topic for a future magazine. :p

Too long between the original GB and the GBC. And don't forget the pocket Gameboy, that was in there too. And I'll get the DS the day it comes out.

I played Wario Ware DS. It's VERY cool. There's stuff like "erase this picture" or "draw this character" or "slice these fruits that I throw at you" all with the stylus.
