and when i was talking to him he said he is getting a couple of more machines within a couple of weeks and the ones that are broken he is going to get fixed
and one of the greatest things is he has AC but it is ok i still like tga to for ddr but it is nice to have ac and not to sweat

So they DID get ParaPara, well good for them, I know a lot of people who will go play there just for that. I think it's kind of over the top to come up to those kids and try to sell them the flat rate rather than them picking it for themselves, but that's just business for you. It shows a lot about the attitude of the place.
I haven't stepped in there yet, and I will soon, when I get the chance. They're just trying to stay competitive, and that's Andy's turf. When they start finding a place online to compete with us, that's MY turf, and anybody who knows me knows that I demolish my competition. :]

That's damn right. See, the thing we have is an established community.
Our enviroment is friendly as well, and we have an awesome staff...
Except for that RyAn jackass...
I hate him...

Para is my turf. No one mess with that para machine or I'll smash your face.
If anyone mocks para while I'm there I'll smash you as well. :D

i love para but i hate paying for it because i can't learn new routines that way. @_@ so i might play a game or two once i know like every routine...but until then, i'll still be waiting for the para controllers that bryan left in cali XP

Haha, you have a turf?
Anyway, that's cool. I kind of stopped playing it at GT, but I'm sure I'll go over at least once and play a game or two. I used to like to a random nonstop course, but now I forgot them all, so I just pick the cool ones. ;_;
Oh yeah...and even though this is the TGA website, let's not be unreasonable. Obviously Gamezone saw TGA and thought it was a good idea and wants to get into that market share. It makes sense since they're a used game store anyway. And of course they're going to try to see what works and emulate it. But there's no point in trashing the place or getting on the case of people who go there (not to say people are, but just in case...). As people who have a personal stake in the place, Andy and the TGA staff will probably harbor some ill feelings, just because GZ is sort of jumping on the bandwagon. But as customers, other people are naturally going to be curious and want to try new things. A little healthy competition never hurt anyone. :) It'll bring out the best in both places (hopefully). Heck, I can even see both places co-existing for a long time, since GZ seems to push the hourly rate, while TGA usually goes for all-day or by-game. People can spend plenty of time at both.
They're just getting off their feet, but we'll see how they do. If they're just going to ride the coattails of TGA, it probably won't last too long. We'll see what they do to attract people.

It's off for the time being, because apparently they need more outlets on that side of the room or something.
