Well folks, more great news. The one year anniversary has just become even better. The mystery event for day one (July 10th) has been changed from the "D3 mystery event" to the "All new mystery event"

This new mystery event has never been done before and in my opinion is going to be the best TGA event we ever had. I did this for several reasons. The most prominant being the D3 mystery event details had been leaked and the persons who had done the event at D3 would have an unfair advantage over the persons who have not done it before. I also wanted to offer something fresh, original and special for our 1 year anniversary.

Sal and I have been working on this project for several weeks and although there is much work still to be done, everything will be ready on time for the 10th.

I am going to be very tight lipped on the details but I will reveal the following: The event is team based and inspired by a classic game show.

There is a 15 person limit for the new mystery event. The lists for the old mystery event will remain intact and will be used as the current list. If you wish to drop out of the mystery event please post a message on the 1 year thread saying so.

Sal and I are very excited about this and I'm confident that you will have lots of fun playing it!!

Hey all. Just thought I'd fill you in with a quick update on the mystery event. Andy and I are pretty psyched about this, and we want it to feel as close to experiencing the original game as we possibly can make it.

Basically, I'm creating everything except the show logo and a couple of other tid-bits from scratch. So, it's taking a LOT of work, but I can say that, thus far, said work has been coming along as planned. I've tackled the most pressing technical issues, so it's really a matter of refinement from here. Andy and I met last week to discuss the aspects of game play, and there will could very well be some sweet surprises in store for the participants.

hmm?? what?? this sounds so cool! but i'm already primary for jeopardy... ;_; am i gonna make it into the mystery event? looks like there's a lot of people signing up...

but either way, kudos to you both for all the work you've been putting into this! ^_^ i'm sure it's gonna be great.

I would say I could be of help when it came to graphics, but because I might be in it, I don't think that'll work really well. But the offer is still there Sal and Andy. :] Don't be shy!

I would say I could be of help when it came to graphics, but because I might be in it, I don't think that'll work really well.

Thanks for the offer...but the graphics are almost finished.
