The fourth event for the 1 year anniversary had been announced.

Saturday July 10th

The good folks at Manville Pizza have worked together with us and will be providing pizza for the first day of the tournament. So your paid amission for Saturday gets you unlimited games, a T-shirt and free pizza! Manville Pizza is approximately 5 minutes from TGA and is open 365 days a year UNTIL 4 AM!! If you are pulling a late night at TGA and are hungry stop by Manville Pizza and show your support. Menus and directions are available at TGA.

As of this morning, there are 7 spots avaialble for Jeopardy and 9 available for the mystery event.

Sunday July 11th

The second day of the anniversary weekend (July 11th) we will be having, in addition to the freestyle tournament, a Donkey Konga Tournament . The rules will be similar to a DDR PA tournament with a qualifier song then a bracket system. Donkey Konga's scoring engine is broken down into 4 categories:

"Good"
"OK"
"Bad"
"Miss"

"Good" hits are the equivalent of "Perfects" and will be used as the scoring system. In other words, your score will be the number of perfects that you get in a song. The grand prize will be a Donkey Konga / drum combo pack! More details will be released as they become available. PLEASE REGISTER ON THE 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY FORUMS.

Note: There are unlimited spots for the DK and freestyle tournaments.

Sunday Savings!!

I understand money is an issue so I am setting up a special deal. Everyone who attends the first day with a paid admission, can come back the second day, enter both tournaments, AND have unlimited games for only $10. If you would like a second t-shirt then admisson will be only $15. We will basically break even on the $15 admissions for they will only cover the shirts, but the entry fees from the previous day will be used to pay off PF, rent and other expenses. So basically, if you come the second day and pay the $15 you are getting a t-shirt, unlimited games and tournament entries for the price of just a t-shirt :gator:

Just a way to say thanks for the support. Just keep in mind, T-shirts will be available on a first come first serve basis. T-shirts are only guaranteed for Saturday entry fees. The remaining T-shirts will be available
on Sunday as inventory permits. I don't anticipate selling out, but I had to post that just to be safe.

I was also considering having a pot luck on Sunday aka, everyone brings some food with them either homemade or fast food... just an idea...any thoughts?

Heh, The jeopardy makes me remember the question we got on the first one about the FAQ's. It was over since Chris is a mod on DDRFreak lol

That's why I was Vanna next time.

I am this time too! I guess Bryan would be the ringer this time around...is he playing?

Hell, if that's the tradition we want to keep, I'll do it. :D
Better than being yelled at for having the damn leg to mouth lag like I did last year.
I guess it'll have to be me, since I spend a pretty good part of my day in this place.

Actually Chris, I was thinking it'd be kind of unfair for me to play, since I'm the one that knows the most about the conversations and quirks of this place. Just like how you couldn't compete last time because of the DDRFreak questions that were on there. That's what I meant.

But if I can play, then I'm definitely not ringer, that lag is going to kill my team again. Jenni can do it. :] She has a much cuter meow and hopefully faster reaction time than I do.

Oh, I probably could have competed. I just wanted to be Vanna. :)

....oh wait. Yeah, Jen, you were right. I meant "ringer" as in someone who's too experienced to be in a competition but enters anyway, and you meant "ringer" as the person that makes the animal noises.

Hehe, I think Abe was my teams "buzzer" last time I was on a jeopardy team. Did we win? Maybe, I think, Either that or we got third place, Cause I think Billy Brown and Neraj's team knew what mix Toto's Africa was on (Damn these minor facts that I never bothered to learn) :froggy:

Can we get something other than pizza? I can not eat pizza, because I am violently allergic to yeast. Or it might be the fact that pizza is not kosher. Or it may be because I am just morbidly scared of eating in general; I am not sure.

well, pizza is usually good for the majority...most people like some sort of pizza. it would be hard to find something else that everyone agrees on. but sometimes they have different things you can order from the pizza delivery like chicken fingers or whatever it is they have. ^^; so try that...or bring some food of your own! :P

I am not asking for whatever is being brought in en-masse because one or two people can not or will not eat pizza (I am not that self-absorbed). I just want to know if people who do want to eat the pizza can get something else -- I would be fine with a plate of chicken wings, personally.

If this can not happen, I would not anyone to worry about it. I am just wondering.
