My name is Derek. I've only been to TGA once, but I plan to try and get there a bit this summer. My dancing partner (Princess Sally) and I used to be pretty frequent attendees at Tilt back when it was a 3rd Mix, then we moved to Big Top in the Rhode Island Mall. As most of you probably know, that place is gone now. Nowadays we can be found every now and then around Grand Prix in Seekonk.
Anyhow, I'm just about finishing my first year at CCRi here and will be going to UMass Amherst in the fall to study Japanese Language and Literature.
I frequently Roleplay on Furcadia (Online Social Roleplay with Anthro Characters) and try to be into the furry culture.

Hey Derek! Welcome to the boards, and glad to see that you have already jumped into the conversations. I don't know if we've met before, but if you frequented the Grand Prix about a year ago, you more than likely would have seen me.

Glad to see that you'll be studying Japanese. My fiance, Jen, took 2 classes in it when she still lived in California. It'll be nice to know that we'll have another around here besides Andy and Jen that can decipher and transpate it.
