So I've noticed that this section of the forum is a tad lacking in organized sources. So I figured I'll start and maintain this top post so no one needs to scroll through a thread to click all the links.

This is a site dedicated to the Genki books and the iJ book, giving all you'll ever need to memorize the vocab and kanji. Also if you register it will keep track of your progress!

This site is great! If you have a money to dish out, or know where to get it for free ;), then you'll be a smooth talker in no time. The site contains podcasts for any level of Japanese and they create new conent for you to practice with weekly.

An extremely useful dictionary system super modified off of the JWPCE (http://www.physics.ucla.edu/~grosenth/japanese.html) dictionary that's for free download.

Another useful dictionary that might cover what WWWJDIC might have missed... With these two dictionary's you're pretty much covered!
JGram: The Japanese Grammar Database (http://jgram.org/):
A little difficult to understand because the data is not well planned out in organization, but it is extremely useful for you if you want to pass the JLPT (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JLPT) tests!

An AMAZING plugin for firefox, it will translate Japanese on-the-fly on anything you highlight within a website. If you're not using firefox, you should be otherwise you fail in my opinion. >:D A modified version of rikaichan is Perapera-kun (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3343)

Want to know how to spell foreign words in Japanese using katakana? Then this is your list! Japanese use katakana to say words that are not native to their own. with this list is you study it carefully you'll be able to properly spell foreign words, say your name for instance!
