View Full Version : [PIU] Pump Exceed 5 now at Tilt!

Tilt's Pump It Up has been successfully upgraded to an Exceed 5th.
There are slight volume issues (way too loud) because normal employees like me can't access the front panel where the knob likely is, but the whole thing should be all set by tomorrow night. Meaning that by Wednesday morning at the latest, you'll no longer have to spend 2 bucks a game to play Pump. We've got it for $0.75. :D

I'd go, but it's a convenience thing for me. D&B is just closer. But if I am ever at Tilt again, I'll be sure to be on that machine.

nice. is the ddr pad still in that odd placement? as in the 1p side is insanely closer to the machine than the 2p side.

If it's ever placed like that, it shouldn't be, and you can fix it yourself without much of a problem. And if someone asks you what the hell you're doing, just say you're doing their job, since they aren't. Please. >_o

The new Pump is so sweet. I played it today and it rocked. I'm spoting the #2 slot in the scores right now..I need to get it up to #1 dammit! I can play O-gang and Crash now! w00t!
I f'd myself up severly playing though. My tendons are in horrible pain right now so I need to take my delicious grape children's ibuprofen, ice my legs up and go to sleep.... x_x

jajaja same thing happened to my tendons in the morning when I played :D and I'll rule the #1 spot :D

Pump is broken guys...Well..you can still use the second side of the machine. One of the panels on the first played side completly snapped in half (luckily nothing underneath it was damaged or affected in any way).
Believe me when I say I will do everything I can to get this fixed. I work next on Sunday, and I may end up stopping in tommorow. Even if I can't play it PIU is like..my baby...and I hate to see anything wrong with it :crybaby:
If the panel can't be repaired. I will see to it myself, if I need to, that this is replaced as quickly as possible.

The arrow panel and some new sensors should be arriving tommorow. So it should be fixed soon.

Just thought I'd be the bearer of good news. The broken panel was replaced with a pretty new one today, and it works fine. Brian (the general manager) is also going to work on the difficulty level, because it's failing people for missing two arrows, which is pretty ridiculous. >.o; As a side note, Initial D is fixed as well: new cards, and the 2p wheel is working wonderfully. ^_^;;

I went by to check it out today real quick. It's working great by the looks of it. And everything's unlocked! I got to play Burning Krypt and Get this party started which I didn't know made it to Exceed. I will be back on a regular basis hopefully.(my new PIU location! It is closer and cheaper after all! XD) Chances are I won't get back until maybe tuesday though since I have a rough work schedule.

BTW: How do you unlock PIU? I need to get D&B to unlock theirs for when I go there.

There not much of a direct competitor, mostly because of their age restriction. That's my view of it at least. I'd like to see those unlocked songs and D&B is 15 minutes walking while Tilt is 45 minutes by RIPTA bus, so because of that, you should say how to unlock it.

1. Enter test mode.
2. Scroll down to the "Restriction" menu.
3. Each song will be listed, and [Enabled] or [Disabled] will appear next it.
Figure it out from there. :p


There are other songs that need individual codes each game, such as Monkey Fingers. I don't know the codes for those; you'll have to talk to That Guy.
