I was recently discussing with the staff if it possible for them to run a shuttle to TGA. I believe that many of us, especially from the Boston area, would like to come to TGA more frequently, but don't have a car. A shuttle which picks up the players at a rail/bus station close to TGA would be really great. How many people on this forum would be interested and at which stations should the shuttle run?

It Would be nice if you guys hav shuttle service from Boston Airport, so that I(or people who live far away from TGA) can get easier access by using plane.

There is a bus that goes from the Fitchburg train station to Town Hall on Front Street in Winchendon (.3 miles from TGA). It runs between 5:57 and 6:24pm. The bus is run by MART, which has busses going from the Fitchburg train station all the time. I don't see why there couldn't be a bus that goes to Winchendon on Saturday (11:00 or 11:30am?) if there was enough people who would use it. I think bus fare is only like $2.00 or $2.50 to Winchendon. It's a cheap alternative to renting a car from Logan airport. It would still take forever to get from Boston to Winchendon (2 subway lines, commuter rail, bus), but at least it would be easier on the wallet.
I'm sure if a certain arcade owner were to call the bus company, a Saturday bus could be arranged. It would certainly help out festivals and tournaments. Once people get to TGA, it's easy for them to get a ride back to their hotel. By the time they leave, they will have already met at least a dozen people, one of which can bring them to their hotel.
Here's a link to the bus company's website if anyone finds it useful: MART Bus Routes (http://www.montachusettrta.org/Bus_Routes.html)

Would this be a regular thing? So the bus would run every Saturday at about noon? That would be great!
Getting back might be a problem though. I don't know how late bus drivers work. You might need another chartered bus out of here at 8pm or so? Because I imagine most people would want to go coast-> Winchendon -> home in one day with a 3 hour round trip on the bus. Two busses is more of an expense but I'm sure most people would rather do that than get a hotel.
