Game's too good. I want to see if I can get any competition nearby my place so I can learn how to get good. I seen like 2 people actually knowing how to play the game. The game is extremely underrated. Anyone live near Lowell or Boston?

For people that want to learn the game, there is a general system guide available (http://ikusat.mac.org/mbac/), along with a smattering of character-specific strats (which will probably get updated when I get the ver.B mook).

Beyond that, you will probably want to start watching match videos. Thankfully, the wiki has a listing long enough to keep you busy for a while (http://ikusat.mac.org/mbac/index.php/Main_Page#Match_Videos). Unfortunately, there is no central point for discussion -- the community is really fragmented.

Around, i actualy didnt know that there were people in MA that played MB, i was told not to long ago that there was something setup at anime boston wich made me mad since i missed it. If the MB:AC kit is in by then, it will be on the arcade version.

If it is not, it will be set up in the lounge on the PS2 version in Original (ver.B) mode. Bring your own controller/stick, there will be pads on hand but there are no guarantees that they will be to your liking.

I need to get one, but i have to get used to playing MB with a stick .. right now i kinda use my DOA4 stick on my laptop to practice with now and then but my main thing is a PS2 controler ... really only think that throws me off is air throws. Where can i get a good PS2 stick that wont cost an arm and a leg?

ya honestly gotta go with the best you can... even if it means saving up... I bought the tekken 5 le stick and it diddn't help me for jack... but as soon as I got the hori... I saw a vast improovement in my motioning and fingering... it really is something else now how i can nail shoryuken's and supercancels with ease (if only i knew what to do with em lol)

I hate fighting Kouma so much. Only character in the game where putting them in the corner is not a good thing. Not like it matters -- he does stupid damage anywhere.

I think I did better against Chibi with him than I did using Mech-Hisui, and I barely play with Kouma. :\

It was a round robin tourney. Whoever get's the most wins and least amount of losses wins.

I got 1st, 2-0 everyone, but Dipstick got a close 2nd I would assume. Then it would be Worthless Scrub for 3rd.
