Kinda oldskool, but we used to play it nonstop here in Springfield. Dude, we would waste all our money trying to defeat each other, especially this kid Derek who used to glitches to his advantage. Like Wolverine's, which is why I kinda lost interest, but I played with Spiderman and Ryu.

MvC2 > MvC. I love the marvel gaming scene, its too much fun to watch. :bear:

MvC2 is a lot more unbalanced than MvC was, if you don't count Red Venom.

Strider for me :D Didn't matter who he was paired with, he never died.

It's just too bad 14/15 original MvC characters got nerfed for MvC2.

MvC2 has a lot more play and alot more strategy involved than mvc, plus mvc isn't as fun or hardcore as mvc2 (imo)

there is no such thing as a fighting game that is balanced to the point where u can win with every character no matter the matchup........oh wait yes there is its called vampire savior

and mvc2 is far superior to mvc1
in terms of gameplay,strategy and overall depth

not to mention there is no game more exciting to watch at a tourney....that is if your on the east coast
if u have ever been to an ec tourney and have watched mvc2 u would understand what i am talking about
its like electricity running through the air like at a sporting event shit is just crazy

and its more than possible to win at mvc2 with a wide variety of characters
i do it all the time

MvC2 has about the worst tier system in a fighting game. Out of 56 characters you will probably see at most 10 in any given major top 8.

that's because a lot of people just find characters that can be cheap and safe, and stick with them. Like one kid I played a while back used Setinel, Dr. Doom, and Cable. Most annoying thing ever.
But, there are ways to beat them, you just have to keep trying.

If you get two players who know how to play and play there characters well, it's amazing. Just the amount of stuff you can do to damage or combo an opponent makes it twice the game MvC is, and I use to play MvC everytime I hit the arcade.

I used Strider, Guile, and Charlie. All for close combat purposes, which is kinda bad to rely on. Everyone says Guile and Charlie suck, but I'm pretty good with them. :)
