SSBM Championship:
I really apologize for not getting these out sooner but here (http://www.tokyogameaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=229) are the new rules for the SSBM tournament that will be held 2 weeks from Saturday. I have talked with Billy Brown and two new tiers have been added to the tournament, a free-for-all and team tier respectively. If you have any questions about how the tournament is set up please PM either Billy or Dipstick. Do not flood the messenger with PMs as I won't be able to answer them as accurately as they will. The image link will be updated shortly.

Moderator Madness:
As we grow, more and more ideas are being poured into the mix, making the forums a little harder to run each time. Abe and Ryan have been doing great jobs as my super moderator assistants, but in my view, with their time schedules - they need help. This is in no way saying that they are not doing their job, but I do not want to add to their already lengthy job descriptions.

So, in order to address this, I'm holding "open interviews" for one more super moderator and two coordinator positions. My job has become more of like that of a project manager as well as the site's caretaker, and because of my daily 9-7 work schedule, I can't take all of the member's ideas into consideration.

The third super moderator will be there to help the other two and myself as well as be a liaison for the forums. The two coordinator positions will be in charge of specific projects, whether they are tournaments, events or projects that I may have up my sleeve. They will be awarded moderator status upon entry.

Serious inquiries only! These are time consuming jobs; if you do not have enough time to dedicate, do not apply. I'm looking for people that are pro-active, not those that need constant supervision. If you have ever heard of the word "empowered", then that's what I want you to be. I want the applicants to be well spoken with good writing skills. Applicants need to be able to communicate well with the rest of the staff; this is not just a position of power but a position on this team.

I apologize if that was way too long, but PM me, IM me, or email me if you're interested!

i would PM you....but it feels wierd PMing you with something serious for a change. xp so i'm replying instead.

i'll volunteer myself seeing as how i'm spending a lot more time on these forums than i ever thought i would. i'm still unclear as to what exactly you need moderators/coordinators to do...so why don't we talk about that later? i'd be glad to help....if not for anything else then maybe in the meantime while you're picking someone. :] i'm not dying to get this position, so if you find people that want it more than i do and you know they'd do a wonderful job, by all means go with them. but it sounds like you need someone else to help around....and during the day i'm usually hanging around anyway...so why not?
