See, I knew something would go wrong with the monitor during shipment! It got stolen! ;) Nuthin' but an empty crate!
EDIT: Oh. The third picture took so long to load that I didn't see it. I thought Anthony just posted the first two pictures and declared VICTOLY without the third picture just to tease us.

The new monitor, so sexy. I thought the old monitor was good, and then I played on this one, and it was like night and day. Much brighter, and much sharper. Good work. You have an awesome IIDX machine.

Just got back from getting about 10 new AAA's today on DistorteD, songs that I have sworn at in the past because I knew I could do it if it weren't for the monitor. Everyone who played today were scoring much higher and felt alot more comfortable at the arcade. The difference really is like night and day.
Thank you Andy. Thank you Andy. Thank you Andy. Thank you Andy. Thank you Andy. Thank you Andy. Thank you Andy. Thank you Andy. Thank you Andy. Thank you Andy. Thank you Andy. Thank you Andy. Getting this monitor was something you absolutely did not have to do. Regardless of what iidx was hooked up to, all of us who make the trip up from CT every weekend we can would still be coming to TGA. Installing that monitor isn't going to encourage us to come up any more or any less often...we come to TGA for the friends we know that go and for the atmosphere that your arcade provides. Getting that monitor just makes our experience even better. You paid ALOT of money for something that most people who go to TGA won't consider a really huge big deal (iidx is not THE game at TGA (hi Supernova, Taiko, DDRF, and Pop'n Music)). You didn't get the monitor because it will make money, you got it just for us who play the game.
I'm still amazed that you even got it, and at the difference it makes. In 100% seriousness Andy, thank you.

I'm not an avid IIDX player myself. I struggle with most 6's, really. But even I could tell the difference; my timing was better, not good, but better. It's super sexy. You rock Andy.

I still think Andy was under the influence of something when he bought the monitor -- it makes zero sense from a business perspective.
With that said, the monitor is a huge improvement. Quite the surprise, actually. Songs were playable at much higher speeds, the rampant blurriness of the old monitor is gone, things that were absolutely unreadable to me (like the end of the Jaeger remix [A] from HS) suddenly made sense (and became passable, zomg).
I managed to pass Max 300 on it... at hi-speed 2. http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/8653/icontoot4nd.gif
In short, Andy is insane (in a good way) and anyone who complains about the state of the machine at Be^Howlmanifest is catching a brick to the face.

I cleared So Fabulous another with an A! Also, I cleared The Dirty of Loudness! Also, I full comboed So Fabulous on hyper while Dudabo AAAed it! (And while Ian blew bubbles.) I've never full comboed an 8 in the arcade! Andy, thank you so much! I know this monitor will never pay for itself. You basically just paid for me to improve at the arcade.

A lot of people out there would do well to learn that this is the kind of service Andy wants to give his loyal customers... they'd probably think twice before they set foot in another arcade or trashed us again. He always wanted to fix the display issues IIDX had and we went through as many options as we possibly could have, and we came to the conclusion that the only foolproof method would be to get the real thing. Under my assurance that the gesture would be well recieved and appreciated by you guys, he did just that. As such, I'm really glad to see this kind of response, as well as to see that Andy's machine is finally perfect in every way he wanted it, right down to the Omron switches in the buttons. In short (is it too late to be brief?), this is thanks for your support, and again, a good example of what support for us brings to you.

Ooops, sorry. Ian brought the bubbles. But Steve was the bubbleman! I was too busy watching Dai, I mean... the notes to have noticed the precise origin of the bubbles.
