I'm hoping to begin lessons maybe late July or early August. I was wondering however if there is a double lesson type thing. Sadly I don't have my liscense yet (untill next Feb anyways) and my parents work schedule is mildly large. In any case what I was planning to do most of the time is just have the lesson and play at the arcade for the day if that's atb all possible, but t would be cool if maybe I could have a double lesson or soemthing? This is all in the future though so I geuss I'm getting ahgead of myself. Well in any case I was wondering if any of that made sense/ was chill?

Believe me guys, as much as everyone says tapes and books work. A private instructor is WAYYYY better. I've only been studying Japanese with Andy and Chie for 9 months or so (not sure on the exact date) but I'm already comfortably fluent. I've talked to Japanese people before, including professors at my school. If anyone is REALLY interested in learning and will be dedicated to it then get a teacher. If not, then the tapes and books are always a big plus.

I would LOVE to try learning Japanese again.
I studied many languages throughout my educational years and Japanese was obviously my all time favorite. Even thought I doubt I would ever get to use Japanese, I would still love to continue learning it. Sadly I don't remember much, but I can only imagine it wouldn't take long to relearn the alphabet and the basics.
I envy those of you that are fluent and even more so the ones that are fluent because they get to use it!!!
If there were classes, I would so join!

im pretty sure i freaked out Chie(dono) when i was at TGA on sunday, i told her: ROLLING de Hajikun da!!!
she asked what "rolling" was, so i layed on the floor and rolled about. She understood what i said, but didnt get that it was from StarFox. ;_;
i bought a bunch of books when i was in JapanTown in San Francisco. Books + Andy(dono)'s instruction = full of win and good.

For those of you that do know Japanese and speak it at the store (and I know this isn't Japan) but especially when talking to people from Japan, try to refrain from using slang and impolite Japanese. In other news, I HIGHLY encourage those of you who are interested in learning Japanese (especially those of you that live close [FITCHBURG for example!] lol) to talk to Andy and Chie about classes. If there are enough of you who live close enough and can schedule days together, I'm sure something like a small class could be arranged. If not, individual lessons are still great. For those of you that will begin studying with Chie or that know some Japanese, talk to me in Japanese at TGA!!! I will very rarely use English at the store so for those of you that are serious about learning, please use it a LOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! It's the only way you're going to learn. So I encourage speaking with whoever you can find that even knows a little bit. Especially me because I loooove speaking it and I will talk to ANYONE! Again, anything about classes I've said is still strictly up to Andy and Chie and with their busy schedules can very greatly, but it's just some ideas to throw out there. This was a long post so if you're still reading it: ありがとうございます. 私はTGAで貴方たちを見るつもりですよ. 私と日本語に話しって下さいよ!
