Just wondering if you guys would get a couple initial d machines....big fan and i am sure others would love it too...the closest one right now is in the holyoke mall which is about 45 min drive from brattleboro (I-91S).

Would Initial D be included in the flat rate? Would there be a seperate lower flat rate if you only played initial d like before? (but i think Andy got rid of it because people were playin other stuff) Also, isn't over 1$ for a card a little expensive? I've never seen a place where the cards cost over 1$, but i guess it would make sense if the new place costs alot of money. Hope you guys have success at your new location. I'll probably come by if you get initial d :)

Well don't hold your breath guys, cuz that probably won't happen for a while. Just play Out Run 2 :gator: And no Out Run 2 doesn't come with the flat rate. It only takes quarters.

lol, that is true. i guess i'm a little spoiled on price, because at rutgers, we have our machine to 75 cents to start and 50 to continue, so a card is only 1.25. i used to get bored, and beat the entire game for about 12 dollars. (that includes taking out my card to loosen the steering config.) ^^

in response to KiN, 1 dollar is about normal/cheap for an ID3 card. at the DDR SN test location here in jersey, it was 1.00 to start and 2 on top of the starting fee to buy a card. so a dollar is really cheap. and after reading red shoe paul's post, i'd have to agree that it's rather low. 2 dollars would be fair, since that's what most people pay for it.

It was 1$ at gt last time i went a few months ago. It was never 5$ to my knowledge. I went there the other week cuz i was around there, ran iro with evo 4 stock and got 3rd best time on machine, which is sad since i havn't played version 2 in a loooong time. There's no goin back to ver 2 after ver 3.

lol, you should see some of the players at rutgers. we have ID3, and some of the best players have several cards with around that many points. if the machine worked a little better, they could pull crazier times than they have now.

but it's cool that the response for ID3 at TGA is so high. i'd be totally game to race other TGA goers with my 3 full tunes. ^^

rx8 understeers, from what i heard. it's huge, which means it's a good blocking car, and it's got good acceleration. it's a really good 6 speed car to use.

the car i use most is a full tuned LanEVO IV. i love it. it's a really good overall car. my full tuned buntamobile i gave to a friend, and my rx-7 type r is mostly a time attack car. it's set to kyoko's specs, so i prefer not to race with it. it's fast as hell though. and it's a great car in the straightaways.

I dont like the EVO 4. I love the car actually but in the game it's just so easy to drive. I hate that. I think that's why i love rx8. So fun on iro. you should have cut that down to "cappuccino != wet". cappuccinos suck on all wet courses. and they're toast if they get wall hits.

Yea any fish for a cappacino is a wet course anyway or snow, my god snow is hell. Don't even try to play rx8 on shomaru. They get startup and then it's a pain to pass them. Not fun playing a cappacino against a rx8. If you tap one wall you lose :guin:

I saw the post over at IDForums.net and decided to join here. I'm Excel, ID is really the only arcade game I play(Battle Gear 2 a bit). I'm from Cape Cod in Mass, probably about an hour or so away from TGA. If you guys want a challenge, you should drop by Hyannis Mall sometime, I'm probably one of the top 3 players on the East Coast, and without a doubt the best in the state.

Although right now I'm at college(UMass Amherst) so I don't really play at all($10 bus ticket to Holyoke if I'm really desperate, all though if I do go Ken usually hooks me up with some free games). And ya, whoever was talkin about Ken earlier, he is the fucking man. Cool guy, and he was really good at ID to boot(unfortunately he stopped playing shortly after I started to really get good).

TGA should definately get V4 when it comes out, I'll be there way too much :D

Heh EXCEL I don't know if I've ever played you but I definitely don't look forward to having my FC crushed by you. :) I remember you from the forums though.

To be honest I'd rather see TGA get IDAS4 soon than IDAS3 now. There's a LOT of flaws in the battle system of 3 that I got tired of after a while.

I was down at #78 in US East (much higher at the time) when I had my card stolen and pretty much retired.
