This is it. The last feature request for DDR Forever 3.4.

This isnt a lie. Not a test, not a joke, and certianly is the end.

This is your last chance to submit any complaints about the current theme. You have until I declare this thread closed, at which point there will be no more feature requests, additional things, changed graphics, or anything, until after bemanifest. Period. End of discussion.

I need to make this game rock solid stable for that event.

Dont have anything to suggest? Then just play it.

Play the living shit out of it.

and tell me what goes wrong.

Play on the right side too, most of the bugs with the right side are missed because I dont play the right side on my laptop.

Play two player with your friends, Play doubles. Just play it and tell me where it breaks.

I will be updating the machine on Friday to include memory card support and things, and run on linux. So use memory cards, tell me which ones dont work. Things like that.

Cooperate with me, I want to make this game the best it can be.

My only complaint is that you will forget, on cloudy day, so lovely and sweet pretty poodle alone again.

I hope you're proud of yourself! :crybaby:

I know why that happened, it should already be fixed. If not itll be fixed FRIDAY WHEN I UPGRADE THE MACHINE.

Anthony said that the timing got messed up when he re-imaged the HD from an old backup. The backup must have been made with console-sized timing windows. (Which I actually kind of like, sort of, but they feel wicked loose.)

I've already said this to Anthony, but the sound effects might be off. I think you get booed for a AA. I think the announcer also says "You're a fantastic dancer! You should dance one more time!" after you've already finished your last song and did not earn an ES or OMES. (He never says it when you do earn an extra song, either.)

I don't know how much control you have over extra stages, but if you could make it choose non-long, non-marathon, non-12+ songs when it picks a random song from the current folder that would be cool.

Richard Bagman, having the ability to obtain confidential information and relay it to my fans, who depend on my every word, has once again determined a thread on this website worth of his presence, and has decided to enlighten you.

I have deducted that this Catastrophe fellow is quite skilled at these "Bemani" games as you call them, and it would be wise of this German Cat fellow to listen to him. The points Mr. Catastrophe makes are valid ones. Mr. Catastrophe, you would be happy to know that there is a surprise in store for you and everyone else at this "TGA" as you call it, in regards to the "extra" stage.

For the rest of the population who do not have investigative resources I would also like to point out that I have learned that some sort of new monitor is in place on the "DDR machine." The picture is much more brilliant, almost as
brilliant as my superior mind.

On that note I will close. I will see you at grand opening, or maybe I won't.

I would like to point out to anyone who doesnt believe every single fucking briliant word that comes out of Richard Bagman's mouth, that everything said here is true. Except that the new Extra stage will not be in place until July 5th.

Expect it to be really fucking hard. It is already and the steps arent even final.

As for right now, The Extra stage is Paranoia Respect Heavy Reverse 1.5x because too many people were getting the long version songs and whoring them out to play basicaly 15 songs worth on one credit, Making one play of DDR Forever take 30 minutes.

That made me angry, and it changed.

Extra stage until bemanifest is Paranoia Respect Hard 1.5x Reverse. Dark is not on. Dark is off. You can see the receptors. Just like on real DDR.
Encore Extra Stage until bemanifest is Radio Rockin Hard 1.5x Reverse Sudden Death. Once again, Dark is off. You can see the receptors. Quit bitching about it.

The timing is mad wrong, but that was an oversight by myself because I forgot to load the timing windows onto my thinkpad before I left (Oops.)

I also left a CDRom drive, a hard disk, 4 IDE cables, and a screwdriver. at TGA. If you see any of this stuff, give it to Andy.

Most of it should be in the office already anyway.

Anyway. I had a blast and Ill report more changes when Im not tired as hell and pissed as shit.

Dude! Those pictures are bigger than the monitor you're taking pictures of!

I'm assumming you haven't integrated all of the changes yet. I got booed for my AAs yesterday and I don't think the announcer said anything at all when I got a AAA. Your new fail screen didn't animate either.

EDIT: I just remembered that I saw the words "YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO SEE THIS" on the bottom of the screen sometime briefly before the songwheel showed up. The second "Single" is still there (http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/7219/screen000073pf.jpg) and it never occured to me that quad mode is actually impossible.

1. I know, thats the point. Smell the detail from 4 hours away.

2. I fixed that last night. Sorry :( wont be on the machine till bemanifest.

3. I fixed that today. Oops! Need to edit language files when adding new screens!

4. Not on the official machine its not. It will be labeled "SOLO" sometime in the future, be greyed out on the official machine though. It will be active in private builds though (I play solo)

Other:
I reimplimented clay's timing kinda. It will be there, but I removed it while I have to test the game with a Zboard.

Any linux gurus in the area need to send me aim emssages now, Zach and I are having major problems with FFMPEG.
