Anyone into Mugen?

Mugen is an open source fighting game engine that is highly customizable. You download characters, stages and program them in. The coolest thing about it is, you can pit Guilty Gear characters against Capcom characters. People have also gone as far as designing anime characters, and characters from other game genres for it.

It's a nice concept with not-so-great implementation on the public's part in general, I think... I've never seen anything more broken than a "dream match" mugen rig with every sprite-rip style character you can find, especially when the mechanics of particular games follow their respective characters and only them (i.e. 3rd strike characters having parry, but not say, DarkStalkers characters). Given the customizeablility of Mugen, some very good original fighter could rise from it, or maybe has and I've never seen it. Unfortunately from what I can gather most (not all) people are bent on having their own glorious favorite creation come to life with no worries given to whether they're even CLOSE to balanced or not.

Oh yeah and you can juggle in the corner with repeated fireballs forever.
