Andy, I think Its a sign that you are raising arcade standards. people are trying to see what works in arcades, or in your case arcade/store/hangout. I think they are trying to change in hopes of being just like you (Impossible). They would all lack the certain TGA, "Where everybody knows your name" atmosphere.

Now, first of all, the people who came in and asked about business ad things were not "spies." They openly walked in and asked to see Andy. Fourth, and most importantly, why the hell do you guys hate Gamezone so much? What is wrong with you? Is it because they're "copying" TGA by starting an arcade/gamestore? If it is, let me tell you a little secret. THEY OPENED FIRST. That's right, and since TGA sells games, I'm pretty sure you guys are copying them. Now you'll say "but we were the first arcade to open!" And I'll say this: Arcades were invented long ago, so get over it. ^ .^

Now you all may be wondering why I'm here. I'll tell you. The thing is, bishounen such as myself, have an incredible drive towards destroying demons and other assorted evils. Sadly, there are no demons around here - so I've dedicated my life to finding losers and setting them straight; and the stink of loser emnating from TGA is unmistakable. (Buy an air-conditioner or some deoderant won't you people?! :P )

PS: I don't hate TGA, I've shopped there a few times. I don't hate all the people at TGA either. what I do hate is the small group of people there who constantly trash Gamezone for no reason other than that they're Andy's personal zombie-slaves. That annoys the Hell out of me. Most of you are fine by me though ^_^ I'm just saying, give Gamezone a chance alright? :P I mean, a short time ago, there were no arcades or gamestores around for us gamers, now there are two right on the side of each other, so we should be happy! ^_^ There's no reason why we can't bounce back and fourth between both right? ^^ I talk to John (GZ owner) from time to time, he seems like a nice guy, and he plans on getting alot more games. (It's too bad he doesn't sell pocky though, TGA, I commend you for selling pocky!)

PSS:You can all find out who I am on the day of the SSBM tournament, when I go there with a few friends and beat all of you miserably, and take all the prizes (if there will be any.)

Well, thank you for an intelligent answer. I must admit that I was pretty annoyed when I began writing my first post, and it shows. About halfway through writing it, I realized how mean I was sounding (which is why it kind of cools off towards the end ^ .^;; ) Anyway...ya, they're both good stores, I just can't stand when people discriminate against things (like certain stores :P ) for no good reason, hehe.

You do realize this is all pretty much made in jest, right? I hit GZ just about everytime Im at TGA (with GameStop phasing out NES games, how can I not). I dont have a problem with them at all. This is meant to be silly, funny, happy smile time. Its like freindly picking on each other type stuff. I plan on continuing to give my gaming dollar to both. So dont get your knickers in a twist over something on a message board, especially if I wrote it.

First of all I say that I have a problem with only a small number of people at TGA ("most of you are fine by me," remember?) Second of all, I know most of you over there are only joking, which is why i like most of you. ^_^ Third, not everyone who comes over from TGA is joking; I'll give you an example right now:
One time while I was at the store talking to it's owner, one of the people from TGA walked in. He seemed nice enough, but when John (GZ owner) told him that he had just gotten the new King of Fighters in, the TGA person got all insulted, and I quote, "What?! King of Fighters?! I'd never touch that peice of Sh**!" After that, he played one game of Dance Maniax, and left. When John tried being polite by saying good-bye, despite the other guys rudeness, the TGA-er replied with a disgusted snort and walked away. And that kid did smell. Really bad.

But again, I stress that I know that most of you are alright. My original mesage was for those people like the one I just mentioned - I see TGA goers come into the store often while I'm there, and I talk to most of them. Hell, one of my best friends visits TGA on a regular basis.

So there you have it everyone - to all the jerks at TGA (select few):Get a life and stop being

You werent flaming a specific person, You said yourself that you dont like "A select few TGA people" and you gave no reason other than they were rude to you once and you hardly knew them. I have been friends with lots of people. I really have.
And honestly, I have never been friends or friendly with so many people that are so quick to judge.
On Staurday I went to TGA. I went to Gamezone afterwards. I came back from Gamezone and at TGA there were at LEAST 3 people who got mad at me because I went to gamezone. Get over it!

If I'm happy going to both places, I'll go to both places. If you're happy going to JUST tga or JUST gamezone, that's great. As long as people are doing bad things, I say let them be happy.

Don't you guys think that makes a little sense? Let people do what they want to be happy. End of story. Don't get mad at "sellouts" who go to one arcade and not the other.

I think the major gripe with EZ2DJ is that its a mandatory $5 an hour. What if I dont like the game, I'm stuck with it for an hour, and not really worth taking the risk.

As for people bitching at others for going to GameZone, grow up. As much as I love TGA, and am a loyal customer, getting pissed off at someone for checking out a nearby store is just plain childish. Kindly grow up, please.
