I kind of wish they'd just make something for gaming, because that'll probably cost a fortune. I just want to play Halo, not print pictures and play music.

I bet:

MRSP: $999
CPU: Intel centrino Pentium M 1GHz with stepping | 1 MB L2 cache | 667MHz FSB
GFX: Intel Extreme 64 MB w/ Shared 192MB - total 256MB
RAM: 1GB DDR2 533MHz
HDD: 4GB or 10GB 5400 RPM
Battery Life: Power On - 4-8Hrs (10Hrs if using only low processing apps the entire time); Standby - 15-20Hrs

Then the yadda yadda extra crap.

My opinion:
Totally useless, spend an extra $500 and get a real portable PC. If that thing is weaker than my bet I'll laugh.

My irrational opinion:
gimme

Dude, I got my laptop for $1,000 two and a half years back and it's good enough to game on.

In other words... No.

No as in "I don't want the MS portable, I have an actual laptop that cost the same amount."
