I remember how crazy it was in the days of the Lounge and Water Closet (thank god the WC is closed), but I think without it, The site has lost sort of it's personal feel to it. Plus it's the only way for people like me to converse with the regs, and junk.( I wish I can afford a plane ticket for every weekend). Would it be possible to bring it back, or if its still there, make it accessible?

yea definately bring back the Lounge; There's always gonna be those threads where you wonder what the hell were people thinking, but the site does lose it's personal feel, as Kamashi said. Plus if important things are said in the lounge that may impact the rest of us it'd be nice for everyone to have access instead of just a few.

*plus how else will I be able to reach the 25 post mark and get to have a real avatar? lol

I'd like to know why the lounge is gone for some people in the first place.

Anyway, we will be working on the next version of the site starting next month, and restructuring the forums is a top priority. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to PM me.

Actually the lounge is still there, it is a little confusing but I will explain why.

Only members with a certain number of posts can view it. This was done for security reasons to protect things that have to remain confidential. This will most likely be changed in the future after the "big project"

Of course we can allow access since we know you guys, just hit up a mod and they will take care of it for you.

I, too think it would be a good idea to make a private forum for people with a certain postcount. Having a general discussion board for everyone is a good way to start a community.

Andy: Why did you make the lounge postcount-restricted? You could have just created a new forum (that was invite only) and posted the reveleant information there, which would have done what you needed without blocking off that part of the forum to everybody else.

Anyone who doesnt know what the water closet COULD HAVE been, if they didnt banish it almost immediately after they realized that I'm a tremendous jerk, and used it as my own playground, sucks in my book.

the water closet was ok. innocent topics didn't turn into "F*** you!" excchange as much, and besides, It could come with a warning to those with a weak constitution. Sometimes, a little unmoderation is a good thing, like fist fighting in the parking lot outside a resturaunt instead of bothering the customers in it. (bad analogy, I know.) :froggy:
