I only recently saw this but aparently its out of print? Has anyone ever played it or see it recently? I wanted to buy it but it seems to be impossible unless I want to pay $100 on eBay. So I wanted to know if it sucked since I'll never find out on my own.

Yeah, I actually heard just yesterday that DDR Mario is really, really bad. The challenge mode in Mario is, supposedly, extremely easy. Like, probably standard in normal DDR. But that's just what I've heard. I still wouldn't buy it for that much money until you get more opinions on it.

I remember playing it one day. It was a random tournament I found out about at my local GameCrazy. I was like "It's a free DDR Tournament. If I win, I get free swag and if not, well then.....whatever" and uh........to cut a semi-long story short, if you're looking for something challenging, look somewhere else. If you're looking for something to keep you and your friends busy or trying to get someone to learn how to play DDR then this game is good.

they stoped makin it becuze the pads they made for the GC had some serious problems with it so they are holding back on the games untill they fix the problem.

i dunno, It seems nintendo just wants to add stupid sidequests in every game they make. I play DDR because of it's simpleness, and not for it's graphical prowess.

Yea my friend is asking everyone and looking everywhere to buy it this game, since they to not make it anymore. It's gone and done.

My cousin was actually one of the few souls who managed to get a copy at a local Best Buy when it came out. Basically, as mentioned above, the game is ridiculously easy. Only one song in the entire game gave me a run for my money (Bowser's Castle is the name of the song, I think). However, I do admit that the game does indeed have a very catchy and likeable soundtrack, especially to nintendo faithfuls. I only recommend you buying it if you can find it at a reasonable price.

actuaally, pick it up if you can see it... the games no longer in production because basically nintendo lost money every time they made one... meh it does suck though... unless you a nub...

Actually, I heard they stopped making it due to some issues with the pad.
But yeah, it 's practically for newbies.

Ok, ok. I'll take your word for it. But I try not look at the game so negatively, though. As easy as the step charts are, mush mode does give it an interesting twist and it would be great as a source of entertainment for the kids at parties. (Cause man does it make my head spin watching the kids run all over the house XP)

im totally agreeing with you, kids would definetly be entertained by this game. im not gonna say, MAN THIS GAME SUCKS because they have easy step charts, and i like hard step charts, its just not my type of DDR game, thats all. And kids running around the house = XO lol

That I can agree with. And yea, I no longer have the mental fortitude or blissful ignorance I once had in my adolescent years to bear with party children, so this game does wonders lol
