Holy hell this game is intense. It caught my eye while I was at Game Stop in the mall with Rob Brown and he gave me a brief review on it then I bought it. It can be kind of boring, but I really like playing it just for the graphics. The basic idea behind the game is that you have to defeat these gigantic beast things called the colossi to take their power to bring back your girlfriend, wife, or whatever she is. When you start playing the game you think that you should be fighting some lesser foe before you get to the colossi, but that's not really the case. This makes the game relatively short even though there are 16 colossi. The game parallels games like Prince of Persia in the platforming sense of it, but it also has a puzzle element in it as well. You have to use your sword's "magic" power of reflecting the sun to figure out where to stab the colossi for them to die. That can cause some frustration, as well as the fact that you literally have to climb up the colossi while they're attempting to shake you off with your limited amount of grip. I've been reading that this game shares many similarities to ICO (I've never played it so I have no comment on that) which I can understand because they have the same developers. All in all, I highly reccomend this game to anyone.
