View Full Version : Pop'n ASCs?

Do you have any Pop'n ASCs in stock, or do you even sell them? If you do, how much would it cost and what brand is it? Last time I was down there, which was a couple months ago, I don't recall seeing any except for the mini-controllers.

Reason I ask is, I don't have a credit card (I'm only 17) and my parents don't trust 3rd party suppliers like Ransai and DA, so my ability to get a controller is slightly limited unless I decided to spend over $400 on the official controller on Play Asia. Which ain't happening. 'Sides, it'd be nice to help the store by buying it there if I could.

P.S. First post BTW

We actually have a partnership with Desktop arcade right now. The only thing is we do not carry their itens instore. It is still a mail out a money order and wait system.

Correct, DA and TGA have a partnership, and orders through TGA take priority; these orders ship in under a week. (We are working on quickening all orders to this pace, period. This should start occuring in the beginning of the new year.)

It's the least I can do to thank Andy and all you guys for being so welcoming and helpful to my staff and me. :D

How long is the wait usually on ASCs? I made an order with Ransai last year and Scott is still making me wait, almost to the point of annoyance. If DA is more timely with your orders I think I'd bring my business to you instead.

We always try to make good on any problems our customers experience. Late controllers ship with goodies, and controller malfunctions are handled as long as we are made aware of them properly. These days, we are setting up a support line which will be staffed almost 24/7 by my wonderful friends and employees. If you are still having some sort of problem, please email me at Steve@Desktoparcade.com, or our support staff at support@desktoparcade.com .

In addition, for the past year DA makes orders from TGA a priority, and they ship in a fraction of the time. Send ma an email and let me know what's up, and I'll make sure I do something to make things "good" with you. Thanks.

whoa whoa... not to an order... as to an event you guys sponsored and attended... our staffers (ie. team) were left with many bitter tastes in their mouth... I personally had a great time with ya steve!

Ahh, with Connecticon? That was a combination of miscommunications which I did my best to make good on with the vice chair. I've got a couple of more suprises I want to spring on them to try to "make good" on everything from last year, but I also had a blast with you guys! It was the most welcoming con staff I've ever dealt with, and it ended up turning into a ball of (lost and) miscommunication afterwards. It's also changed the way I do event sponsorships, which will be for the better not only for DA, but for cons and events we sponsor.

Steve, you were awesome at connecticon.

All things considering between the con date and bemanifest, do you plan on attending / sponsoring both?
