The next ranking battle will be some time in January. Two reasons why: First, there are some issues being discussed between TGA and the landlord, we can't give an exact date on the next RanBat so just keep posted. Second, the Northeast Championships (NEC) is coming up this weekend, so people will be spending a lot of money over this weekend and since the next RanBat will probably be in January this will give people enough time to gather up money and show up for the next one without a problem.

As crazy as it seems, SSBM is probably one of the most well-designed fighting games ever made. They have to be doing something right when I could have tournaments in upstate NY that would draw 100+ people, where any 2D fighter would be lucky to draw 10+. Can you think of any other fighter that holds together at all levels of play, from casual play to top players? Sure parts of it are kinda silly (lol Marth lol), but you get that kind of rampant stupidity in any fighting game (from lol Slayer lol to lol Akiha lol to lol Chun lol to lol Cable lol -- everybody makes mistakes).

I love the game, it has characters we all know and love, and tons of skills to master. I'd say there's more to SSBM than most other fighting games.

wicked hard trap niggas in the corner jiggly puff power that and the objective of the game is ringouts great if i want to see that ill go watch tilt scrubs play soul calibur 2
while im on sc2 tilt scrubs u suck and ill rape u for free with my astaroth
seriously tho i would rather play et for atari than play smash brothers
i had more fun with power stone 2 than i did with smashbrothers
take smash brothers make it 2d and if it has to have 4 players make it a tag game and i might play it
