Fantastic Attack Top

Qualifiers will begin at 10:00am. Late entries will be taken until 11:00am. Double elimination will start at 11:00am. The rounds shall proceed as follows:

Round 1 (and all other rounds of 16)
4 songs will be drawn from a random selecting program (7-9 difficulty). Each contestant will roll a die once to eliminate a song from the list. If they roll a number not on the list, then they roll again.

Round 2 (and all other rounds of 8)
5 songs drawn in the 8-10 difficulty range.

Round 3 (and all other rounds of 4)
6 songs drawn, 9-11 difficulty range.

Round 4 (bracket final)
6 songs drawn, 9 and up difficulty.

Final Rounds
The final rounds will consist of 5 songs each, selected from a draw of 7. 9 and up difficulty.

Note: Losing bracket round formats are listed in parenthesis by the number of players in each round.

Event rules:

* Shuffle and its variants are barred along with any modifiers that disqualify the player from ranking in such a way as to make the song easier (e.g. Add Mines would still be legitimate while No Mines wouldn't be on a song that contains Mines).
* Step altering modifiers such as left or right need to be matched and consented.

Prizes:

All entry fees will be added to a prize pot, of which a certain amount will go to the arcade for hosting the tournament. The remaining funds will be divided amongst top 3 winners accordingly.

1. 50% of the prize pot
2. 25% of the prize pot
3. 10% of the prize pot

Modifier Challenge Top
Schedule

Qualifiers will begin as soon as the Fantastic Attack competition ends. Estimated time is 4:30pm. The qualifying song will be played with a fixed set of 4 modifiers. Top 8 percentages will proceed through a double elimination.

Each round will consist of two player-picked songs and one random song. The player who picks the songs will select 5 or more modifiers that the other player must match and compete on. Then the other player will do the same on their turn. The idea is to attempt to try to bring "homefield advantages" into play and test player adaptation.

Winner of each round will be best 2 songs out of 3. If there is no clear winner, a final song will be picked by the director, who will select 6 or more modifiers. Bracket finals and final rounds will be best 3 of 5.
Notes:

* Speed with the exception of anything that disqualifies from ranking will be left open.

Prizes:

All entry fees will be added to a prize pot, of which a certain amount will go to the arcade for hosting the tournament. The remaining funds will be divided amongst top 3 winners accordingly.

1. 50% of the prize pot
2. 25% of the prize pot
3. 10% of the prize pot

Hahaha, good luck getting anyone to come. For some reason everyone in RI hates ITG (I don't personally though). I expect within a few hours people going "OMG ITG IS TEH SUCK IT'S JUST STEPMANIA WITH HARD STUFF!!!!"

Awww guys. If things sucked they wouldn't exist as Abe once said about a music genre he was defending. If ITG was horrible it wouldn't have it's fans and tournaments. Anyways, Radi0 have a blast and good luck for the competitors. Only people ACTUALLY interested in the subject whether it's any questions or sing-up please reply. xP Thank you.
