I know technically this could go into the Sony section as well, but I have the PC version so..yeaaahh.. ^_^" Does anybody here play FFXI? I just started yesterday and I'm already addicted to it. =/ if so, what are your characters/classes/servers/etc?

Also, if anybody else plays or has played I have a Newb question: What's up with the symbols next to people's names? I see some with different colored balls, some don't have any at all, and I have a question mark on mine. Is there a way to change these and what do they mean?

Same. The game looks amazing, but those kind of RPG's are sooo expensive. I'll wait for XII.

But FF12 isn't going to be Massively Multiplayer is it? I've never been crazy about MMORPG's... but then again, I've never really played any good ones.

12 isn't going to be an MMORPG. Its going to be a normal console rpg type deal like the other ones as far as I know.

I'm a FFIX newb too. I'll make a new charachter if anybody wants to team up? I'm lonely =( And Stax, about the symbol, I had a question mark for a while, but then it went away? So I'm not exactyly sure what they mean. IX is turing out to be one of those games where you get too little info to do ANYTHING. It took me like 2 weeks to do a quest, and what did i get out of it? NOTHING!! lol. But it is fun, and it'll be fun if i have friends. So if anybody wants to team up, lemme know.

As for the quest, keep doing them, soon you will have to pay so enjoy getting nothing, trust me. The higher the rank, the better benefits you get from your home town or the town you accepted the quest/mission from. For instance, your well known among the NPC's, the prices in the shops are cheaper, and you can ride the airship just to name a few. Eventually you'll be rewarded well on the more difficult Quests/Missions.

There's no such thing as a "Good" MMORPG, and there probably never will be. So you’re not missing much. None the less the public likes them and plays them. LOL.
