Ok, Can somebody tell me how to open up my PS2? I need to mess around with the insides and there aren't any screws or anything.
I'm about ready to take it out back with a hammer at this point.

Which type of PS2 do you have? If you have an older model (non slim type) the black squares on the bottom can be pried off with a screwdriver and the screws are underneath. Depending on which model you have there will be either 8 or 10 black stoppers / screws. Good luck!

When you open it be very careful there is a very thin wire that powers the on \ off switch and eject button

Yeah, I have an older model (second or third batch of ps2s that came out I think). My fan stopped working, so I need to tweak around with it to see if I can get it to work again.

One more question, I've gotten down to getting the screws out of the circuit board, is there a way to get it out without ruining it? It seems to be attached to other parts under it (well, above it if it were right side up).

re-edit: N/m, i have a couple of extra screws, but I seemed to have fixed it and it works fine now. Thanks ^_^
