BioHazard 5 (Resident Evil 5)

its been confirmed. resident evil 5 will be coming out for the PS3, and XBox360. i saw some screen shots and the official trailor from japan, the game looks pretty good so far, but i kinda dont like the fact that it is coming out for the xbox360. i kinda think thats stupid. xbox has never had a resident evil game, but why not now? if you wanna check it out, go to http://ps3.ign.com/articles/635/635504p1.html. I heard about this new game on Gamespot and I personally can't wait. Resident Evil 5 has so far some really good graphics, the talking "zombies" might make a return, and the lead character could be Chris Redfield. I also think that the idea of putting this game out for the Xbox 360 is a stupid idea because there was never any resident evils on the old Xbox. Still, I like the idea that Resident Evil 5 is coming back to the system that made the game a hit in the mid 90's, the Playstation 3!

Eh. I'm forced to disagree, strictly because I am a multiconsole lover and Xbox owner. Why shouldn't it come out on Xbox 360? Isn't expanding into new markets a good thing? I mean, come on...doing RE4 only on GC was a poor call in my book, as would have been doing it only on the Xbox. But when it comes out for multiple systems, it gives a chance for the single-console people to get together and kill some fux0ring zombies!

Oh, and since when was PS3 out in the mid '90s? Just playing ;) :gator:

Chris Redfield is awesome. I watched the trailer on IGN and it looks great. If i get the PS3 I am deffinetly getting this game. The graphics look amazing. Um, take into account that those were CGI/trailer graphics. As many games in the past have shown, trailer != gameplay. Wait until actual gameplay footage is released before judging overall graphics.

CGI is well done, it has some very nice lighting effects. Let's just hope that the actual gameplay will look like that. How come XBOX 360? Can't they have Nintendo love like with RE4 :D

I'm actually pretty dissaponted that its not coming out on a Nintendo console. I love my gamecube (RE4 IS coming out on PS2 btw, its just not gonna lool as good). I'll most likely pick up the X-Box version.
I don't see why people are getting worked up over the fact that its also coming out on the x-box. Its not like its the only option. O_o

I agree with you. I think having a title like RE5 on the Nintendo Revolution would help boost sales. I do like Nintendo, I think they have some really good ideas, they just haven't been able to execute them properly while still keeping their business strong.

The fact that RE5 will be on the XBOX 360 is nothing to worry about, it's on both consoles! There's no reason to have a war between two different and good consoles.

Oh well, they will make more money this way by having it avaliable to other systems, personally now I can be able to get it cause I aint buying PS3
